Hello, I created this thread so we get to present a certain Film/Book/Anime/Music/Manga that we really like and we'd like the community to like.

    Rules :
You can present a youtube video or a game if they are good.
You are forbidden to post about something discriminating or sexually orientated…
When you post, you need to structure your text.
Here you post about one of the categories listed above, basically you post a review about something you like, your aim is to make the others discover that "something".
When you present a subject, it needs to be correct writing : SMS language is not allowed !
When you post it needs to have a minimum of content, by that I mean you can't post something too short, 10 lines would be a minimum.
When you comment about a subject, be subjective, clear and explicit.
    A few bad examples :

    Cloud Atlas

Cloud Atlas is a film by Lana Wachowski, Andy Wachowski and Tom Tykwer starring Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, James D'Arcy, Zhou Xun, Keith David, David Gyasi, Susan Sarandon and Hugh Grant .
The film is about 6 stories happening at different time periods but that still remain connected .
The particularity of Cloud Atlas is that the actors are all reused which gives us a hint on who is who's descendant .

The first story takes place in 1846 : It's the story of passengers on a ship, specifically the son-in-law of a slave trader, discovering a stowaway while becoming very ill .

The second story takes place in 1931 :It's the story of a composer who leaves his gay boyfriend ( Big taboo at the time ) to work for a known composer, he composes a masterpiece named Cloud Atlas but his boss thinks otherwise of who the piece belongs to .

The third story takes place in 1974 : It's the story of an investigative journalist living in the footprints of her father, while discovering a massive corporate conspiracy .

The fourth story takes place in 2009 : It's the story of a curious elder publisher trying to escape a very special asylum for old folks .

The fifth story takes place in 2144 : It's the story of a cloned waitress getting exposed to to the real world and finding the truth behind clones and their "soap", while discovering an even larger corporate plot .

The sixth story takes place in 2346 : It's the story of a post-apocalyptic hunter, who meets a woman from space, in the search for hidden clues to the world's history, hidden in a frightening temple .

When watching this film you need to pay attention to who is who, why is this happening and how did that ever happen .

The stories are all shambled up which makes us discover the connections between the stories but also the common message sent to us indirectly which are mainly : - Abolishing slavery
    - Not to follow the mass
    - Think for yourself
    - Don't believe everything that is said to you
    - Question the unquestionable

Some people thought this was a revolutionary film way more innovative than all those campaigns against ( insert cause ) which people tend to dismiss…
Some thought it was a disaster, mostly because they are used to popcorn movies and don't bother thinking about a movie…

    Hoped you liked the review...

Wow ok. This thread hasn't been touched in years. I do love anime, the artwork and especially the music. I guess it depends on my mood what I feel like watching or listening to. When I'm want to really relax or sleepy, to me nothing is best then choro club who made BGM soundtrack for Aria the animation. Somber mood, I'll listen to Yuki Kajiura, Hack Sign soundtrack. When I'm really happy, Bamboo Blade OST. Just a few I like. Hopefully this thread will become alive again. Thanks for reading! (^-^)v peace.
