Fractional barrier

Does it matter on tank?
If your tank needs mp and you have only one slot on armor. Would you go with Demonic quaser and have 2000 mp of go with mom fluck to have 1700 mp max and 15% fractional barrier.

Budget isn't a factor here but like, what's best?

 

Its pretty good to have some fract barrier, It might save you from some attacks when you're careless. But it's not something to be relied on. I go with quasar since I prefer that motion speed and cspd to speed up my motion even a lil bit and the cspd to sped up my heal cast. But really, there's not much difference between the two. Id rather get an iron empress xtal and live with 700 mp since thats actually good enough. Just use magiadd3 and food buff if you feel like you want bigger mp reservoir.

 

I would go with Iron Empress for max hp and physical resistance *cough*
I mean, everyone would favor avoiding fractional zones instead of facing them head on, don't you think?
So yeah, if it's between the two said xtals, I would pick DQ, for all of its feature (MP, CSPD and motion spd)

also we have guard syatem now so its really helpful with fractional and fatals

 

Ermm you know that guard doesnt cover fractionals nor fatal? Only P. Def

 

Barriers matter? If so then i guess Zahhak machina is a good choice for sword then.

Only fractional barrier matter for tanks, especially tanks with high hp. Even then its not worth sacrificing stuff like resistance and aggro for barrier. Fractionals are less often encountered compared to magic and physical attacks, which makes fract barrier more practical then magic and physical barrier. And tanks have high magic resist and physical resist so magic/physical barrier just doesn't make a whole difference. The best xtal would be hero potum which has maxhp%, aggro% and fractional barrier, but its quite expensive one.
