2. Find seller, run with them, pay the gem
3. Find yourself a trusted seller or pay only after you done the gem run. Payfirst will get you scammed, maybe sometime

 

unlike the guy above who missed the point almost completely, i have realized that you are trying to sell your gem, not buying it. so the answers will be:
2. find someone you can trust, do the gem run with them and they will pay you after the run. Even if the run is failed, they still have to pay, or else it's still scamming.
3. as a seller, you will need to find ppl who you can trust. That's it. There is a line group for gem run that i know of, if any of them is interested, they will come to contact you. For example, @LilFoxie may be interested.

 

To answer your last question I advise you to ask your friends to see if they wanna join in and tell them to ask thier guildmates if they wanna join for like 500 or 600k. That's the best way to avoid getting scammed
