One interesting method for all those using the build now is shell breaks activation.
Theres some conditions that can help boost its rate.
If you have a sniper ( bow sniper btw ) in the pt his/hers guard break can aid in its activation ( tested fully yesterday ).
And under some break condirions too it seems ( more tests ongoing ).
Also if u soften the target up to ur base resistance aka proration it seems to activate more.

 

Base recap of build guide:
Simple version = easy to understand.
Combo:
Bash / holy as opener ( depends on boss )
shell break+ save ( must be lvl 10 )
Flash blast ( dw skill any lvl ) + consec
Impact ( lvl 7-10 perssonal choice ) + consec
Heavy smash ( lvl 10 ) + smite or swift.
Any 1 mp combo finisher etc
= +30% smited bonus+ the builds +300% h.s bonus ( if activated )
Gear:
Mostly str +% atck +% and elemental again depending on the mob/boss
Xtals:
Crit and/or atck+% str+%
Note :
depending on ur route of the builds flash blasts lvl u can also add evasion +% items to trigger counter dmg aoes making it a multi-purpose build.

 

ok nice so bow gaurd break is counted aswell? im gona ask the obvious question is it worth a look with bow as main for frequent/more chances of gaurd break?
i doubt cos of the 200% damage we lose :/.
btw also why what happen to your other thread why was it deleted?

 

Yes bows and h.smash sadly do loose some bonus dmg however it gives double the chance to let smash do its thing ^^.
Other thread was deleted after 16 hours prior to this remake.

Yes extreeme spike dmg.
Higher activation with a bow sniper in the pt.
Good as the main breaker of the pt.
And even unsmited does deadly damage.
If staffs arnt a players perssonal choice ill refere you to @Ratburat and @Mitchy25 both use diff main weapons mitchys agi type and rats bowgun type hiting amazing 100k smashes.
Just shows we all waisted so much time on tripple kicks when we all had this deadly skill in plain site of us.
No more excuses testing all skill types from now to see if theres somthing else special weve missed .

 

anyway yeah i tested full dex with bow-gun +knucks lvl 33 hits like 12k damage. i tried to create a spam type geo build with smoke dust tkick +hs for 1mp combos. but something become quickly obvious. this build not meant for that if u want to reach 100k+ damages- making sure your initial Heavy smash hit does decent damage very important for that sweet 80k+ 2nd hit.
gona reset to a snipe 1mp heavy smash 4mp like ratburats build.
not sure what to call it Geo Gun? need a names for it geo builds

Ohh i seee. So ur goin -shellbrk save; heavy smite. 1mp spam?
Seems many are going with a 1mp saver combo with shellbreak cons, then if proced they 4mp heavy smash- cos shell break effect isnt spammable >~<. Whats your thoughts on that?

Regarding the proc rate of guard break. How about passive martial skill like.. Martial mastery or martial discipline? Will those skills affect the proc rate of guard break?

 

No not at all sadly.
