Graphic Signature? What is the purpose?

I always find it's annoying cause some people make it so big and almost cover entire page, it more troublesome if they have many posts on the thread we wanna read. Make we must put more effort to scroll. Sometimes it make me won't visit a thread because of too many big picture. Don't it will be better if people put it on spoiler? Or there is a way to hide graphic signature?

Hopefully mine isn't too big, otherwise I can resize it or replace it with a smaller gif for ur convenience ^^ (although I rarely post anything special lol)

in mobile view they hide all signature include text one. I don't mind text one.

I did had a big signature pic, but was temporary, just for the holidays and removed it after the time passed. Personally, I don't mind seeing them big, but if you want them disabled just go to your preferences and deselect the option.

Its fine to me..just close your eyes like this (-_-) or make one like they did. Its not really an isue as long as it not perverted than something those members who keep posting about panties..

I actually block ALL of the graphics from this site while reading, and only re-enable them when there is something I want to see.
Just faster that way.

I you are using Chrome browser:
Chrome -> Settings -> Show Advanced Settings -> Privacy: Content Settings -> Images (Show All Images) -> Manage Exceptions:
[*].toramonline.com -> Block

Most the threads I read are just informational, so the graphics aren't needed.
But, if the thread contains screenshots and graphics that I need to see, then I go back and re-enable the graphics until I finish reading those threads.
I read the forums everyday, and I rarely have to re-enable graphics, maybe once a week or so.

If you spend a lot of time reading threads with screenshots, then this might not be the best option (since it is either 'all' graphics, or 'no' graphics, no way to filter just signatures). In that case you might have to go with some of the other options.

 

thx. I think I will just pm mods or admin to ask if there a way to filter graphic in signature.
