Grinding xp culture...

Yoh peeps, I was just wondering, are there people who are still interested in mob grinding.
Lately, mob grinding is almost non-existent xD ...with majority of the attention going towards xp quests.
Granted that mob grinding is only especially effective with storms, so, you can't lvl other characters that way.
-but still, just wanted to sorta raise awareness that you can mob grind at new maps and cap your mage or really good aoe class in a matter of hours, most likely faster than farming quest items.

For example the blue planet heads at gate of another world, first floor near the entrance to second floor. Gives approx. 200+ xp/kill at 95. (disregarding xp bonuses)... not tested extensively but should get a lvl every 1.5 - 2 hours with a full pt, maybe even less xD

Edit: Just a tip, sort of, for ppl using quests to lvl mages. Spreading awareness xD

 

Mob farming is still popular, it just so happens to have lots of bots in the pt's. * cough cough Rugio cough cough *

There is also the newest sub quests with the Iron Balls + the Broad Cloth and BMed.
They give exp and good exp for the quest.
The items also sell well.

 

I've tried the blue planets when i was farming for the swordsman garb. Unfortunately i rarely see parties there. And i have't seen a spot where they bunch up enough to give good xp if you were to grind there. Or maybe i just missed it?

I did grind at empress tomb (the bone dragon thingy) from 70 til 75-76 though.

Ah, fair point about bots, I farmed a little with a 2-person (storm) pt at blue planet heads and was averaging between 1-2 mins/%... thought it'd be a waste to not let people know.

Was farming before the stretch towards the exit, they don't bunch up, per se, but with storm, you can get a decent amount of consistent kills.

 

There is a spot like near the entrance to farm planet heads, but for blue that might be near the next map.

As for Rugio, I'm referring to to massive amounts of bot accounts exactly lined up at dedel.

 

The players I've seen that bot there are the ones with the names eleven-sixteen. They have different colored pony tails that flare out or something with plate armor, elflame, and mining bag.

 

I seen thirteen and twelve at Rugio often.

 

I honestly have no idea about where to grind in rugio. Lmao. I don't even have a clue what a dedel is.

I'm going to try looking for planet spots. Best spot i saw there was the flying fish mobs. There's a spot for green planet heads on the 2nd map (just before Nure's i believe). Was licky enough to get a full pt when the Nure update came. Unfortunately i didn't check the exp since i was too focused on the drops..

 

The blue planet spot I was talking about is exact same the green one you were mentioning but one map earlier. Green heads give about a third xp of Blue heads... iirc xD

Dedel is Rugio Ruins's version of sololo. ( I think I got the name right )

There isn't any farming places in the actual map, but it's closest to some. Such examples are skeletons , kijimu , jellies, etc.

Bots usually line up on dedel's left side of the counter if you face the spawn area of Rugio ruins or if you walk near the wagon that's next to the counter.

 

well, Marionettes give decent exp, and in an hour you should have at least one stack, which is enough to turn in the mmh quest twice. Correct me if i'm wrong, but mmh quest gives you 86k exp every time you turn it in right?
Without counting the exp you get from killing the mironettes themselves, that would be 172K exp per hour. That's without counting the exp from the mobs themselves. You'd have to kill 860 Planet Heads in an hour to get the exp you get from the quest alone...

People do still farm mobs, but it's usually only done for materials =x

 

We need more Nisel Wood farmers so the prices return to normal, the current ones are blinded by greed.

Cooking Skills: Ability to prepare dishes with status effects, Lv10 unlocks "Steak".

 

Planet heads are fun to grind.
In successful pt we use staff mages and have 2 players round up the blue heads by hitting them once and getting a group of them together--we lead them back to the other members who cast storm massacring them all at once.

It's the only mob I been able to grind without falling asleep while farming LOL
