Guide to get more difficulty

I think this is my first guide thread and maybe will be my last guide thread cause I'm so lazy to make even one.

I don't care what kind of bs u want to make, pure or not but maybe u need to get more difficulty but can't add too many tech. This is the solution:

1: Any 2 Slot Weapon, even if it has no pots, you still can find any full tech bs to help you put 2 negative stat and 8 dex then slot it with DEX 2 dan DEX 1 XTA. Rod, Bow, Wooden Sword, or Short Sword don't need any item to craft, only need materials, so you can spam it till it give you 2 Slotted.
Summary : for this 2S Weapon you will gain 11 DEX

2. Army Knife: 25 Goblin Claw, 20 Saham Crystal (125pt Metal). Craft it at Zaldo (BS NPC)
Summary : for this sub weapon, you will gain 2 DEX

3. Any Slotted Armor, it's will be better if you can get 2S although failed. Put 8 Dex and DEX 2 XTA, if you have 2S, put DEX 1 too.
Summary: for armor you will gain 10 DEX or 11 DEX if 2s

4. Fighter Chignon Cap Slotted: 3 White Fur, 3 Marionette String (80pt Cloth, 20pt Metal). Zaldo made is better than drop one, cause it has 1 more dex. Craft it, till you get slotted one and slotted it with DEX 2 and DEX 1 in case you are super lucky to make 2S one (though it's not necessary. better you sell it if you get 2S. lol)
Summary: for add you will gain 8 DEX or 9 DEX if 2S

5. Dex II Talisman Slotted: 20 Poison Essence (100pt Cloth, 25pt Wood). Just buy it from other player, even def 0 is okay. Or maybe there is some players is kind enough giving free slotted DEX II. Don't bother to find 2s, cause if you finally make one, better you sell me. XP. And again slotted it with DEX 2.
Summary: for special gear you will gain 6 DEX or 7 DEX if 2S

6. Use DEX Gems (100 spina ea). Buy DEX Gems from Resistle Merchant (Beside the bar, Zono's haven). Use once in a boss battle. After u finish kill the boss, don't tap the boss again. The dex boost effect will stay as long as you don't tap the boss and you don't shut the game.
Summary: for this gem you will gain 10 DEX

7. Put 2 TECH. As we know for caps 75, we can get 211 stat points right? But for gain max pots, you only need 210. So better you put that one points to TECH, to make it become 2 TECH, so it will give you another difficulty. Or you can add more TECH as you wish.

So if we calculate it all
1. 2S Weapon + Army Knife + 1S Armor + 1S Chignon + 1S DEX II + DEX Gems + 2 TECH
= 11 DEX + 2 DEX + 10 DEX + 8 DEX + 6 DEX + 10 DEX + 2 TECH
= 47 DEX + 2 TECH
= (47 DEX / 6 ) + (2 TECH / 2)
= 7.8 + 1
= 8.8 Difficulty
2. In case you are very keen to have all 2S gear for you bs, you will get:
2S Weapon + Army Knife + 2S Armor + 2S Chignon + 2S DEX II + DEX Gems + 2 TECH
= 11 DEX + 2 DEX + 11 DEX + 9 DEX + 7 DEX + 10 DEX + 2 TECH
= 50 DEX + 2 TECH
= (50 DEX / 6 ) + (2 TECH / 2)
= 8.3 + 1
= 9.3 Difficulty

For the gear material, I will add where you can find them, if I'm not in lazy mode.

Wow this was very helpful. I'm currently using 7 Tec but with the 2 slot items I should be able to drop it down to 2 and keep the same difficulty (Enters Farm Mode). Thanks for the great guide!

 

If you could, it is also recommendable to do Dex+7 Dex+2%(with negative stat) on ur weapon and armor as well.
2%*(210 dex) is 4 dex, so, even without 2s main weapon, the calculation would go:
13dex + 2dex + 13dex + 8dex + 6 dex + 10dex = 42dex
42dex / 6 + 2tech = 9difficulty

 

Have u tried this? coz I have tried put % in my gear, but it's just same

yes, only apply on dex bs, coz the % only work for the chars dex not equip dex.

 

actually, it could add up too, but 8% of 45-50 dex isn't even gonna reach 6dex to make a difference.

 

I think I ever try it with only 1 dex different. If the % working, the difficulty will increase but it don't so I think that percentage is not apply to gear, only char stat.

 

may I ask does this let you get past the proficiency wall (at prof. level 15 i think)?

- i just checked the BS NPC Zaldo and i never see a dagger named Army Knife there. so where is it exactly?

 

it's better if you could have any junk 1 handed slotted sword + 8 dex.. if you know someone who has a level 80 tech smith.. making this would be a snap.. as per @Squid "Ohhh with the level 80 cap it'll be +8 now

To obtain these items you need a lvl 80 tech smith that can add stats, crafting a pot 15 weapon, put in 2 negatives (adds around 42 pot) then add dex 8"
