Guild Battle and First Aid

    Two topics in one... First up is the first aid.

    I notice people use first aid late in the battle aside from busy evading or waiting for a safer time to do it, I mean... I think first aid cuts the revival time by half or close to that so if using first aid asap is better than later. Also, this helps to know if the player is intentionally dying and not trying to tap to get back up.

    Example 1: Using first aid 3 times on a downed party member as soon as possible.
    300 seconds to tap will become 150 seconds if first aid is used.
    150 seconds to tap will become 75 seconds if first aid is used.
    75 seconds to tap will become 37.5 seconds if first aid is used.
    Total time it takes for a downed party member to recover is around 40 seconds.

    Example 2: Using first aid 3 times on a downed party member after 3 minutes. 3 minutes is 180 seconds minus to 300 seconds so the downed party member still need 120 seconds to get back up.
    120 seconds to tap will become 60 seconds if first aid is used.
    60 seconds to tap will become 30 seconds if first aid is used.
    30 seconds to tap will become 15 seconds if first aid is used.
    Total time it takes for a downed party member to recover is around 3 minutes and 15 seconds.

    In an easy or fast kill battle this could be ignored, but in a gem run that increase boss stats or battles with crazy event monsters this can be a big turning point specially if the downed member is the main dps.


    And here comes the second topic guild battle which may affect the first topic, or not :D, depends if in can be a reality.

    I know that toram is a non pvp game, specially with the game balancing needed if ever.

    But... don't you think a guild battle in large area maps could be possible even if most classes are not yet properly balance as strategy could play a big role specially on how classes can be combined with another, also adding limitations on what level a certain player can join the guild battle is also good, different equipments stats will become a factor too, the possibily of using normal drop equipments may shine as well and also players will attempt to stop players from applying first aid until one first aid will cost 2000mp :D.

    Rewards for winning, consolation for losing, special prize for getting mvp and a lot more

    it doesn't matter how you combine classes, because players don't follow aggro and can target whoever they want to. with almost every skill having auto-lock tanks can only defend themselves while watching everyine else die.
    most players are narcissistic, they only look at their own damage numbers and won't even notice that their allies are down. :p

    Since our targeting or lock on system could be set in short or long distance or click target, I was hoping for things like a mage hiding behind debris while casting, or brawler and others classes to inflict status to attackers or archers setting for a crossfire ambush and tank and support to cast spells that can lower damage taken by members within range or lowers enemy stats, concentrated attacks or spreadout mayhem. Also there could also be a steal the base flag, protect guild crystal or total wipe out or high dodge players vs low hit rate players, high crit rate vs crit resistant players too and more possible or whatever else could be fun

    not in this game. crit resistance doesn't exist (for players) and dodge is basically useless since magic always hits and the majority of players have 100% crit rate.

    Couldn't agree more about most people being self centered and not helping others. Even worse is the people who ask to be revived when they die but when you die those same people don't bother helping.

    This pisses me off in special since I have a Hybrid Mage that can Tank and Support people, I often am the reason the Party isn't defeated and revive everyone who dies.
    Some times that I have died for one reason or another, at venena, the WHOLE party would die and everyone would give up.
    Guess what they do when one of the most important, if not THE most important player dies?
    *Ataak venana I muust, criistaal, Whups the parte is ovar who couud hav prevente d it?*

    I Swear no one wants to cooperate, even if you are the reason everyone is alive..

    But if ever guild battle can magically be implemented, let's hope that anti crit will be implemented as well but everything is still a dream right now :D, indeed magic will always hit therefore guild teamwork must exist like non dodge characters should take out the mages, anti critters fight critters or support assist to lower crits, hit, def, mdef or dodge and maybe they remove that 1 hit deactivate support :bloodtrail:. You know the usual things that happen in a guild fight, turf or race wars. The ones with greater teamwork and strategy win against insanely strong players.

    I think other players don't like dying because thier dps will stop and they won't revive you because it is less competition to get attacker rank :biblethump:.

    Maybe if the reward for using first aid is a skill point or additional points for all rank ratings instead of just support rank, this is bad if players do this to you in a gem run, leaving the party then quit, gem is wasted :biblethump:.
