Halberd and Dagger?

Hello All!
Quick question, say I was using the halberd and equip dagger as a sub, will it affect my stats? (I have never used daggers before) If it does how? (Yes I know each one has different stats and what not just looking for a generalized answer ) Thank you in advance !

 

the attack stat of the dagger will not add to your atk stat
all the additional stats of the dagger will apply to you
the attack stat of the dagger adds only to the damage of all dagger skills

so it means that if dagger has stat of +10% matk, then it will not add to your Mage magic skill like storm etc? if youre using staff dagger mage.

 

it will add.. the stats within the dagger will add but the dagger's damage don't contribute to your ATK stat but still adds on damage only when using dagger skills

Dagger ATK does not increase your ATK. it is used to calculate damage of Dagger Skills.
Dagger Stability would add if it had some. all daggers have 0% stability
all other dagger stats apply to your stats, unless they are limited. some daggers have stats similar to arrows and are limited to bowguns.

 

If I remember correctly the stability of your dagger is equal to your main weapon's stability

 

yes, stability is main weapon stability + stat modifier + sub weapon stability (if it applies) + gear stats stability

 

Tell me how the build works once you testing it well enough. I was thinking about that variant build for a while.

 

I think @Alzarith has a Good build and mindset for halberds you may ask him if you want quick responses (mines currently at 46 lol)

 

I'm working on mine at the moment, nearly capped now at level 102. Str/Dex build but might change Dex to agi depending on a few certain facts that I need to work out. So far, it's been going rather well.

Just a quick question, do you think snipe is viable for a halberd/arrow build? Equips for halberd are quite similar to 2h, will that fact alone make snipe a vital skill for halberd/arrow builds?

 

I already tested, punish ray wont give crt buff to snipe so it will be reliant on your base crt and -25% nerf will add as well.
Not worth it imo.

Alzarith, if you change it up with DEX/AGI, let me know on the pros and cons STR/DEX vs. DEX/AGI. Is there any decent or good combos for it, I see like 3 to 4 are doable from the chart. I haven't really touch it yet, just staring at it.
