Heavy Armor?

Which weapon should I pick If I'm using heavy armor on my char? I know that knux & halberd need speed, so no heavy arm for them. 1h+shield, bow(gun), and staff builds don't have agi, so I guess it's ok to use? What about katana and dw?

 

DW is a no since the main stat is STR AGI and maybe some build consider DEX. Katana as long as they managed to get 1k aspd it's all good (tho maybe you could bypass the needed aspd if you're using utilizing tenryu ransei trait)

Some 2h and katana users use heavy armors (usually with Clyde app to show off, it does look nice tho). Oh, and tank characters.

 

AGI = light
VIT or INT = heavy

if you have both, feel free to choose.
if you have neither, don't use any.

 

Unless they buffed Def and made it not a meme in the months I have been gone, I always use light armor.

If you already have 250 def (or was 150 the soft cap? I forgot) with light armor, then you might as well take extra atk speed. I even use light on my tank (if I still played)

 

You can use DW with heavy arm, but with the build of Storm Reaper+Enchanted sword. It favor dex+str and can have that extra guard instead of evasion. Xtal like odelon also reduce dodge and eva so guard + invis are more favorable for DW dex

 

I play bow + heavy armor.
CF don't need much aspd, so u can wear any armor u like.

ps. heavy sakura kimonoII + sakura bow is my favorite set.

 

The better question would be what weapon do you want to use.

 

Use whatever. Just use GSW
