Help 2h tank build

Hello I am fairly new to the game. I started playing last week and am level 25. I have been playing a 2h warrior and want to build my stats into a 2h tank. From what i have gathered from the other forums posted it should be 50/50 str and vit. Is this correct? What equipment should I try to obtain? And is there any certain skills that tanks should have besides provoke or just level provoke up and then wing it from there?

 

Rage sword is another aggro skill that does a lot of damage. Never tested it that's just what I heard. From what I gathered tanks are pure vit. I'm interested in how your character will turn out. I'd use the great sword. It gives 30 def and 300hp I believe. 45-48 base attack (Not 100% sure) it's dropped by goblins in robisco (I know I spelt it wrong but someone will correct me) cave. You'll need survival skills as well. At least 5 in rest and 10 in max hp. It'll raise your hp by 100 each time giving you 1k hp in total.
