I have recently reached lvl 240 on my main char. I still have my mq to reach 280 and unlock all t5 skills. The next step after maxing would be to upgrade my equipment but I serously lack the spina for that. farming for bosses or xtals isnt possible with the weak equip I currently have, so I want to make a Bs char to not only earn spina but in the future craft my own equipment.
Which Options do I have since I dont have a max lvl char (And dont want to immedeatly grind again for lvls)?
I heared I need full stats and possibly specialized equipment to reach max potentail with weapon and armor crafting.
For statting I would need a max char which would take ages to level. Refinement seems to have become really easy in the time i havent played the game. What other things can I do?
Could I possibly raise only TEC to 250 and focus on crafting add. gear and rings? I heared 2 slot equip sells for a lot...
Or should I skip blacksmithing and try synth? is it even profitable?

I would appreciate some advise on what to do to progress further. Thanks a lot!

In order to make a 4-lock synth, you would also need to level up synthesis proficiency which could take a bit of time.

Crafting additional and rings doesn't work that way. You could only craft them at NPC blacksmith. Also, 2s additional and rings are usually drop item or using Legendary piercers.

When it comes to personal stat, TEC & LUK are pretty solid. Both could be set up to be a mage or tank. While it does take a while to level it all up, it's worth it.

Int>Tec allows you to DPS (kinda) and/or craft staves, refine, and synthesize equipment apperance/consumables. Vit>Tec allows for tanking and armor crafting.

Int>Luk is a farming build, the higher the level, the better. Be aware that if you can't one shot weak mobs like those Nemico and Slimes in Ultimea Sewers you have a good chance of getting kicked because you're slowing the entire party down, let alone farm higher level mobs. This is a staple for those who have time to play the game.

Edit: I just realized you're a former guild member. Hello there

Thanks for the quick reply (and hello to my former guild member xD)!

I didnt realize add. gear and rings were made that way, thanks for clearing that up.
Seems like grinding is the name of the game. Gotta go for the Int>TEC or Vit>TEC build since I still want to craft something (I am already sick of grinding nemico xD).
    Thanks for your advice!

smiths become ever more specialised as their level increases. with the latest skills for reducing material cost the specialisation even extends to statting.

a weapon smith is great when you mostly use the same weapon class. (alternatively you can focus on weapons with shared crafting stats).
but if each of your characters uses a vastly different weapon, an armour smith is the better choice.
of course you can trade with other players, but the training cost is higher than profit so your personal needs should come first and foremost.

a synthesist isn't any more profitable. the real money saver here is equipment synthesis, but reaching the desired level takes as much effort as blacksmithing.
of course you can earn a little by selling your excess potions, but ultimately your work is all for convenience and aesthetics.

if you just want money, supplying materials is the easiest path. people are lazy and will buy whenever affordable.
