Help guide for tank Halberd?

i'm trying to build a tank halberd character, what's the best stats and skills should i use? and how to get those crazy thick health bars

 

VIT raises hp.
Dive Impact has 1s invincibility, but can only be used at 4m or less.
Dragon Tail can be used at any range and reduces damage by up to 90% depending on the timing.

 

U can use elegant poise also it has 5s invincibility frame and if u make it lv 10 then for first 2s dmage reduction will be 45% and rest 3s invincible but if it is lv 1 then u wont get that 45% reduction on first 2s
as for the hb tank build i would recommend making it a bit more evasion build and using invincible skills and damage reduction ones thats why u should learn mirage evasion too

 

If you're trying to make a halberd character that can survive big hits then that's fine, but if you're planning to do the role of tank and go, "Lfp halberd tank" to look for parties, no one will invite you.

 

tank halberd? get high aggro stat and knowledge of monster pattern. high hp is not necessary if you can evade the monster attack. after that, you'll get a title "a tank that can do damage".

 

If you mean to make a sturdy halberd, you can do it. Just put on amalgam and sapphire roga xtal and 50-100 vit. And dont learn gsw.
But if you wanna be a main tank, i doubt this build will be good.

 

ability-wise it's comparable to a 2h tank.
you cannot use Rage Sword and Binding Strike for extra aggro, so you need more aggro% on your equipment, but you have 2 defensive attack skills.
your initial guard power is lower, but you get 4 evasion charges from daggers.

 

Delete it.

 

just use dps build. you still can be a tank with that (when no tank in your party) even low max hp by evading the monster attack while holding the aggro by using light armor and dagger. pure tanker are better on holding aggro.

Tested timing of dragon tail can reduce 100% all dmg. Sit on top of a sanctuary with hp 20k. Seem very good. All you have to do is spam war cry of struggle. 3 times = 1 finale. So dex is require. Don't think you need any ailment resist for this. And since pure hb build. So there will not be any dancer skill. Need many ampr.
