Help this newbie and returning player at the same time.

I played Toram 2 years ago then I stopped, thanks to this pandemic I'm back.
So I successfully logged in with my old account, and find out it's a Lvl 60 Mage, lv 13 Synthesis proficiency. The Stat is 145 Int, 21 Mtl (what's Mtl btw?).
I totally forgot what I was doing back then, I think it's a farming char and why am I focusing on Synth hahaha.
Can someone guide me about continuing this char? right now I'm playing with new character Halberd just to get familiar again with the game.
I really need your help hahaha.

 

mtl/mental is for ailment resist, I guess for mages it's so you don't get flinched by aoes when casting skills. if it's a farming char I think it should be luk>int to improve drop rate of rare items . . .

 

I see, thank you man. So it just a proper mage build, I think that makes sense because there's an Ooze shield, Water Staff and a Heavy Armor(?) in my item list.
