how are %stat calculated?

    so, i just testing build on coryn stat calculator
    i put 255 points on mtl, it gives me 75% ailment resistance
    then i use mushroom cap (20% ailment resistance)
    and then i checked and got total of 95% ailment resistance because of the mush cap

    is this how it actually works? just flat out add 20 + 75 = 95?
    or its supposed to be like this 75 + 20% = 90?

    Evasion, Guard rate/power, Ailment Resist, P./M. Pierce, Barrier Cooldown, SRD/LRD damage are some of the things you just flat out add.

    Physical/Magical Resist too but it's a bit more complicated than others.
