How do combos work?!

Sup guys I've just turned lvl 30 and unlocked combos. I have sword and dual wield skills. I made a combo. Started with Astute, then Hard Hit, and then dual slash or something. Yet when I use it it takes all 4 mp bars! Whenever I watch combos online they only take what it says on the shortcut. My combo shortcut says 1 mp but uses all 4 mp. Any help guys?

 

Nvm just realises I have to use special ability consecutive with the last skill. How do. I earn cp?

 

U earn cp by battling mobs or bosses using combo.. try to max out ur moves and use a low mp combo to use it more times ... i usually lvl my cp at tortuga so yeah

 

Spam em combos... Spam em till you drop...

 

But ull prolly end up getting kicked from party from spamming depending on where u r... spamming reduces dmg for the whole prty as a whole... especially those who rely on portration.

 

Nobody said its in a party tho...
and just being a lvl 30 will get you insta kicked given that the party is soo worried about their proration...

They are utilizing Save and Consecutive tags in their combos, so that the MP cost is 1 MP bar only.

That's the MP cost of the skill itself, not the entire combo chain.

 

Hunt those mini boss and kill em with combos. ^_^
