how do you level BS tec?

toram will always increase its level cap, and im very new at blacksmith, and planning to make bs tec 3 in 1 but im not sure how to level up if im a blacksmith?
unlike other type of bs, like bs vit you can be a tank, or bs dex/str etc you can be a dps
but what about bs tec? do you level up by questing only?

 

I level up my Tec black smith by farming bosses and mini bosses, with the use of "Magic: finale".

 

Most people make their TEC bs into a Finale mage. Finale is already strong with little matk. You also don't need a lot of skill points as a Finale user since everything you need is in one skill tree.
You can build your TEC bs into various builds, however your options will be limited due to the lack of stat and skill points.

 

You can make it Finale mage, Crossfire Pure Archer, skill budget DW or many other things but secondary stat after 255 Tech depends on what lock synthesis you want to be able to do, for 4-5 lock synth you need second stat to be Dex and for 3 lock synth the second stat can be anything you want.

 

hmm i'd assume bs tec crossfire is better? since it will give you opportunity to get 4-5 synth lock?
also do you have skill build for bs tech crossfire? i really need to see a reference first because im totally new on this, i dont want it to fail

 

It has more look customization but isn't necessarily better combat wise and yep I shared my setup in this thread https://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/i-want-to-lvl-a-production-character.45408/#post-466379 already. I also plan to use it as a crafter at higher level cap so there is some skills I got that aren't needed ^^

hmm do you think bs tec finale is better than bs tec crossfire? i see some bs tec cf and they have a somewhat good damage
also may i know what skills that arent needed for current cap that you end up taking?

 

Damage wise finale can do more than crossfire but both are good. 5 of the 10 points in Create Equipment, the 2 skill points in Advanced Creation and the 10 skill points in Technical Synthesis I are the 17 skill points I didn't need to use for my skills at current level cap.

 

Okie this might be hard if you just started. I suggest going for the storm mage/Snipe ranger/tank build and level to 150. After lvl 150, you will learn Finale/CrossFire/Guardian(lvl 125). From there, it should be a bit easier to kill mini bosses (need a strong party/helpful guild) to get to 175.

 

Ohh to level up your BS Tech, just do mq with a mage and get storm and finale^^

 

Tec-BS can be Tank as well, in fact it’s more easier to get a party with tank, just max your MP then Spam PDef and Decoy will do.

 

I use separate char for statter and refiner/alchemist. My statter mage is pretty much a standard mage with bunch of utility skills besides finale, and we can cap 2 stats in near future anyway. Plus with exp potion its not completely out of question to level your TEC refiner/alchemist to decent level without NC.

 

In my case, i have two bs tec in differents account. The first account is TEC » INT with Queen Staff and shield (+HP), in the other account is TEC » DEX with Cone Horn (+75 CRT).
I have enough skillpoints in both for the principal skills to refine, statting, synt and the main dps skills. I have buff +2K HP in my house and I could sacrifice sp in HP Boost. All depends of your equipment and knowledge about the game.
