How to Break Boss Parts as an Archer?

Hello all!
Newbie to toram here hoping to start an archer. I played a bit and found Power Shot breaks boss parts but it takes a long time to cast. I'd like to ask you guys if there are other skills I could use to break boss parts or if I can somehow lower the cast time of power shot? Also, can you recommend a beginner combo to use at lower lvls?

Last time I checked, power shot's charge time benefits from cspd, so leveling up and putting more points in DEX should help. There are better skills than power shot that you can get when you level up though, so you might not want to focus too much on power shot.

I see, I saw some vids and found out that Impact breaks a boss too (I think that was its name). I'd like to make an archer that would be able to solo bosses. Can you recommend a beginner combo for an archer?

Most people use moeba shot> impact (save)> snipe (smite)> bullseye (consecutive), and continue to use it throughout the game because of its effectiveness, and you can even replace bullseye with sneak attack if you are in a party.

You can either swift pshot in a combo or use sonic wave as break skill. It's a long ranged skill and can inflict "Tumble" at a boss. The range for this skill gets higher, the higher the skill lv is.

 

Swifting powershot will almost make it an instant cast.
Better set another combo like moeba - powershot (swift) just for breaking or emergency interrupt

I see now, I'll follow your suggestions regarding the combos and boss breaking skills. I'll be using a bow as my main weapon. I hope I can build a decent archer. All the guides here are really detailed and helpful too.
