How to generate more aggro for brawler and mage tank?

Back here again with more question regarding what is the tanker class that can generate highest aggro fast. I don't mean the "best" tank class as each class is good in it own. With different boss/ mass kill mini boss I use different equip as well.

However , recently my guild-mate has a tanker battle where two tank char try to pull aggro for 5 min and who ever get the tanker class win. And the winner is a OHS. I also recently use my brawler tank and mage tank (with Finale) and my aggro cannot beat OHS tank (random party at Venena) . I use the exact same buff (war cry , guardian and sanctuary, protection , aegis) . In my opinion , I felt like BG and OHS tank generate the most aggro fast with blade skill and bow skill.

So...what do other player think? Is the OHS and Bow tank meta at this time? Or how can I generate more aggro with Brawler and mage skill ? My main tanker is a OHS and BG tank , but I found that some bosses/mops is easier to tank with Brawler and mage skill , but I want to be able to generate a lot of aggro as well. I might have to use provoke skill but I prefer not to use provoke since I wont have enough skill point for it (and ended up have to buy star gem)

 

For mage tank, you can focus more with ampr instead of only using maximizer since finale itself and the charging time already took many time, making it lose greatly with other tank for generating aggro speed.

 

As a knux tank user, my main aggro generator would be provoke. Provoke does not eat proration and gives 1200 aggro for 200 mana at lvl 10.

I sometimes spam guardian combo with warcry as an ender like this, reflex(I use stargem)>guardian save>warcry smite and again, the combo does not eat proration at all.

Make use of pdef also as it provides 500 aggro when you succesfully blocked an attack.

 

try get berserk and maybe spirited dance too
i use warcry+berserk+spirit dance in venena, without attacking i still take all aggro

In short: the best way to steal aggro for mage is spamming war cry and left yourself with 1 or 2 MP for emergency. Charge your MP up again. Also charge time will be shorten by 1 sec with 1k CSPD, so u can use Bitter gelatin or Spell headphone.
Also you will need 1 MP fast skill from Minstrel, faster u cast your buff, faster aggro you're going to get.

 

To use ampr need 100 crt.... No staff like toy hammer...

 

for mage:
MP Charge + Maximizer = 1200mp and 300 aggro
then cast Provoke 6 times = 7200 aggro

for brawler:
you are at the front, use P.Def as much as possible. each blocked attack gives 500 aggro.

 

First......did both of you using same equipment, xtal and same buff item/food ?
If your OHS friends is having aggro+% and you not, then no point make comparison because it's not equal.

if both of you is in the same position, and you still lose then maybe it's the combo make the different.
Beside if OHS can spam rage sword(additional 150 aggro) and binding strike(additional 200 aggro).
