I made a post not too long ago about using the bow. I'm steadily leveling up and am thinking of making a LUK farm Mage soon. But how do I level to have enough skill points and stats to effectively farm? I have seen some people power-leveling them with some means in vids but can't understand how. Surely we don't have to start from zero with the small lvl mobs, right...? I know we can take help of guild mercs and your main acc. but I can't go to too high lvl mobs because the lvl difference will significantly reduce the exp gained. So please tell me the most efficient way to lvl up farm mages so that I can farm and earn some money soon. Any help is appreciated.

Do you main quest, then when you hit a wall, you start grinding boss and miniboss closer to your level. The same strategy applies to all the characters you have. ^_^

Get your first character lvl'd up as high as possiible first, i.e. Finish Main Quest. If you've done much of any extra leveling with your main character, you should be over lvl 210 after doing all of main quest that is currently available. (you can find an online Toram Exp Calculator with a simple search to help out and see exactly where you are with that). The reason for this, firstly, 210 is one of the lvls you obtain an emblem for an Exp bonus on other characters, all of these bonus stack with each other, so if you can hit 210, then all other characters will get a 10%(lv30),11%(lv60),12%(lv90),13%(lv120),14%(lv150),15%(lv180)&16%(lv210), or a 91% bonus, if i did my math right. Secondly, all of the stat and skill point bonuses you obtain with your main character, all of your other characters will start off with, so they won't be near as weak as your main was at the start. PLUS, you will also be eligible to get any of the skills tiers from the library that you have unlocked with your main characters lvl, so you can start off with getting high level skills.

Otherwise, all character basically level up the same way...main quest and grind either mobs or bosses. (only with the exp bonuses, the grind won't be quiet as bad with other characters) Also, watch out for events that give Exp bonus periods, there may be one coming up rather soon during Anniv event with the re-tweet campaign. You can check the official in-game news for info and time period on that.

EXP bonus from mobs, bosses, and mini applies to ±9 levels your character level.

    My recommendation:
    1. Do MQ until you clear Venena Coenubia on your main/first character. This opens up the grinding area for 165-199 in advance.
    2. Create new character/s. Set the main quest progress to latest. This is after you beat Venena, so new characters can immediately dive into it when they reach the desired level.
    3. Reach 240 on the main character using MQ and grinding to unlock tier 5 skills.
    4. If you need a farmer, then level up the farmer real quick and start making money for better equipment. Usually you need better equipment at around level 200+ because grinding there becomes harder.
    5. Level up the other characters via MQ + grinding.
Now you might wonder: why not go all the way and finish MQ on one character first before making other characters?
    1. Main quest EXP at later chapters are absurd for low level characters. This allows you to skip multiple levels at once.
    2. Every time you set the progress into latest, the game will find the character on your account with the furthest progress on main quest. If you already finished MQ(cleared the most recent update)in one character, this means you just missed hundreds of millions of EXP on all new characters that hasn't been made. This means no level skipping for you via MQ.
    3. You cannot pick a specific chapter on main quest unless you use Adventurer's Diary. You can neither grind nor buy these with spina or real money so they are rare af.
What you usually need on an account:
    • Main character to unlock the main quest, skills, and emblems.
    • Farmer
    • Refiner
You get 4 free characters slots and you can unlock more via free/paid orbs.

So when you kill a boss that is in your MQ, you get the exp for that quest regardless of the level difference?

Yes it's fixed XP ammount. That's why new players should create a new Character exactly after reaching CHapter 7, and make sure that character starts at your latest chapter.

Exactly as kat said. This means you could also change the difficulty into Easy Mode without worry during main quest. Bosses have lower HP on Easy Mode so you can clear it with less effort.
