How to regain back a good tempo in the game? Returning player

Old player here, but I usually cut my self from playing whenever I experience major losses. (Like losing 20m) jesus. Anyways I'm back now and the only thing I have is

2 characters (lvl 161, 119)
Decent avatar stats
Equipmentless (Like totally zero, so my budget atm is 129m)

What are the things i should do to regain being a normal player? (You know usual boss runs, casual farm, etc.) I used to be an ex refiner but I'm getting rusty and absolute zero luck, so for now I'd just like to farm mats from bosses as my main source of income.

the frist thing I usually do when come back to Toram is find a guild...i have been on and off toram about 4 times already.

with a guild ,u get a connection... some ppl in guild r refiner/ crafter/statter and they might be able to do it at a lower price? (or the usally market price...but usually they wont rip u off) .U can get tip/knowledge from guildies as well.

Another advise is not to buy an op wepond right away until you are sure you like that class. My past guildy spent almost 100m on her tank cha (all 2 slots +S) and she then didnot like it later.
I used to spend a lot on Hb cha that I later regret as well.
so maybe try different class and build and see what u like before buying anything.

Also Venena is a good spot to lvl from 145-200

It can power up 2 characters imo without 2 slot additional.

Give me all your spins, start the game from zero equipment and spina to gain back the joy of playing toram.

 

Giveaway all of your spina/items like I used to (170m) and then back from scratches.


Just kidding. Create a luck halberd chara, a tech smith and then decide which class you want to play most. If you want to level up fast, play bow/katana then. With that budget, you can build a pretty strong archer or samurai. And about joining guild is up to you, you can find some good guild on this forum too. About leveling, just breaching Venena as much as possible until lvl 200.

 

Could buy 1000s of NC an turn in untill both your chars are level 200. From here, do the MQ. Do some gardening... Give some spina to @Snowe and ask him to show you his amazing home. Yeah. That's about it really.

 

I would focus on one character and as Aria says buy an OP weapon, but be aware there are new stats now so the old at7% matk7% and so on are outdated so be careful when buying and don't over pay for an outdated stat, I still see people tryna sell them at ridiculous prices.
I'm not sure what characters u have but as i said focus on one and try cap and this character u will use for farming events, I recommend making a bow, tank or finale as these 3 always seem to be in demand at events or at bosses and just easier to find a party.
Making a luck mage is also beneficial for farming exp emblems or u just needa gather some easy mats and material points for housing or statting. Also if u going to spend a a big amount on 2s additional gear get something that's versatile and can be used by other dps. Ghost zippe is decent since it has matk6% and atk6%, can be used by mage and phys dps. but ofc if u only focusing one character and don't care too much about making more in the future then there is better add gear specifically for what u play, just research.
A 2s armor would also be good, adventure garb is decent now with new stats and I really don't think it's worth paying 70m or so for an armor with more defense and a lil bit extra stat, but it's your spina.

Yeah the same thing happened to my friend, he was using mod with his main account and unfortunately lost everything he had, now he's only left with his alt account which had 120m spina and he had already completed the main quest ... he decided to quit toram at first , but I told him to create a vit tec Blacksmith and keep leveling the proficiency so that he can craft 2s armours , and mino skins started to become expensive too, Npc craft equipment are enough to farm mino and ganglef, But now I feel a little different around him as if we are equal and have more better sync then before when he was a jackass , and he also promised that he will never break toram terms /rules.. now he can earn like 20m to 40m in month ... and we have became more close then before ^-^
