After rereading all the posts about the mechanics of aggro, I made a small test. It completely contradicts what was stated about the agro mercenaries.
I used a character with reset stats and skills without weapons and the same partner.First in attacker mode, then defender. Please see what could be my mistake or oversight.
    1. Attacker
A mercenary attacker takes aggro on himself in just 7 attacks, this baffles me, although in theory there should be at least 22 attacks to take over aggro.

If the first attacker gets +200 aggro to his first attack, then the total is 210 aggro. the attacking mercenary switches aggro to himself in just 7 attacks ...

according to my test, the defender switches aggro on himself in just 2 attacks. means the defender's aggro is about 150. 150 × 2 = 300 aggro
This is the only thing I trust so far.

maybe they tempered with the system. it was never officially explained in detail. we just assumed that they use the same mechanics as the player, but this was confirmed not to be the case for all stats and mechanics.

    but if i remember correctly,
it was mentioned in a livestream (?) that the defender's aggro increases further when the player is targeted.

Thank you for your reply. I really love the exact knowledge about anything. And again, when I start the next tutorial, I come across such pitfalls. I do not want to write inaccurate information, it gnaws at me

By experience, I confirm that the base aggro per hit of the Attaker mercenary is 30.
The conclusion is based on the following observations:
    1.
Start: my AA (my current aggro = 210)
I run from the boss, so
    time mercenary:
    7AA, switches aggro to itself
    2. Start: swinging, but not hitting the boss (my current aggro = 200)
    Meanwhile, the mercenary:
6AA, switches the boss' aggro to itself
From this we can conclude that Mercenary aggro Attacker = 210/7 = 30
    200/6 = + - 33
As game developers usually round down => aggro = 30.

but in that case, 6 attacks would accumulate 180 aggro, which is not enough to overtake your 200.

35 aggro per attack would fit.
30x7 is 210, but it's equal not more. so the 7th attack is needed.
in the second round, 6x35 is 210, which is more than 200.

this is just a theory, though. to confirm this, more data is needed. like using a 1/2mp skill and counting the required attacks to get over the 100/200 extra aggro.

Quite possible. I will continue the test, but with the skills, I think there will be something interesting.
