I m jus think this no one build hunter here or traper specialis

When i read toram skill list hunter skill i think that skill worth. To solo build
Sleep + sunrise arrow
Bear trap more damage from tec+dex:50

But why no one build it??

 

Unless you are a solid soloist or have deep dependency on pet tanks, hunter skills simply lost its utilitarian value for the common archer.
Now since doggo is both cute and reliable tank, some nut job amongst us may actually make a good use on this pet oriented niche skill set.
Sadly amongs human party raids ego is usually larger than brains, basically hunter skill set is crap for damage delivery.(too many pre requisite conditions!) Basically it is the DW of bow weapon(pet & traps are also considered a form of weapon)

 

Traps suck. They don't provide an advantage, can be destroyed by AOEs, and their damage doesn't scale.

Maybe there is something that hasn't been discovered. But currently it's a meme class tree.

 

First of all traps are garbage.
They can not be used on any latest boss like at all with the amount of blue aoe they spam. Theres no way you are going to trigger the trap on bosses without breaking the trap 10 times first heck even regular mobs have started using blue aoes making it tough to use on them as well.

As for sunrise arrow if you know what skill multiplier is how it works, even with sleep and arrow equipped sunrise only gets a total of 5 multiplier. If you compare it with crossfire the tier4 shot skill it has 10 multiplier in 1sec of charge and 20 multiplier in 3sec which is 4x higher than sunrise. Also the 5 multiplier of sunrise is with sleep if you cant put a sleep trap then its only a 2.5 multiplier which is absolutely worse as even bullseye is stronger than that.
TL;DR Hunter skills suck. They are good for pet taming and such but for actual boss battles they are really the worst.

 

Maybe tier 4 its the key i heard is satellite arrow that sound strong but maybe is a crap lmfao. I think they should do proper skills that could be 30% better than previous ones for example tier 4 hunter have a skill slighty better than cf. They would get more money as people would just reset branch and use that skill instead of cf. The only well made one is knight skills in my opinion.

 

For a cleric... traps are sufficient but not totally reliable

It can cut mobs who ate chasing you and also save a life of a team mate who need a break to recharge.... or use hp potions.... (you have to communicate with your team mates though on your plan)

Heck... a bear trap can disable a maton's 2nd phase if you time it right

Its all about timing

Now on the downside... and why i put it as optional for clerics:


Sleep mode can save your hide... enough to recover mopand resurrect someone (only if all of your partymates are dead.... which is rare)

Bear trap is useful to save someone's tail.. but maxing it... or putting it.. is not worth the sp... especially when the minstrel skill will come up soon.

Traps does not work on water environment btw.

As for a humter type..... its a good start

Sunrise arrow + sleep trap is strong... do not underestimate it...... until you got snipe, that's the next best thing... and for a newbie in a game.... it is ridiculously powerful

And then once you got snipe... create a more stable archer... remove the hunter skill tree, replace it with snipe.. then impact... there you go

 

While I understand tbe logic there, I laughed seeing thats just another negative they didnt need.

i suspect they are referring to deep water areas, like lakes and oceans outside the walkable map range
so i discovered a few more limitations that make traps so hard to use:
- you can't set them in lava
- you can't set them in the air
- you can't set them in outer space
- you can't set them on walls
