Ideas on how asobimo can make knuckles viable

    I played knuckles just recently and it seemed really fun punching and kicking and also laser blasting enemies but it lacks what most parties look for which is dps and meaningful utility besides breaking, so great ideas on how asobimo can make knuckles a relevant meta class is removing boss ailment reaction, boss ailment reaction nullifies most utility of the knuckles class, and what they could do instead to discourage ailment skill spamming is by adding 90% damage reduction done to boss if a single ailment skill is used 2 times in a row without switching it up, that will necessitate variety usage of the knuckle skills, another idea they could do is to make the damage formula to be on par with mainstream dps skills, and they can buff the auto atk animation speed considering martial artists are supposed to be very fast in combat, another one they can do to make knuckles a well respected class is a skill that allows them to parry whole map aoe from bosses, that will be a major utility boost for them in parties, if you have more suggestions that asobimo could utilize in making knuckles relevant feel free to share them

    • Goliath has a multiplier of 28 and effective multiplier of 49 with GodHand.
    • Chariot,Rush and Dragon Tooth have the same Multiplier. Chariot and Rush have Martial discipline.
    • Chariot has Long Range skill.

    • This is not useful unless we have better range or survivability.
    • We already can reach 10K ASPD without GSW.
    • This might be useful if Knuckles had better ASPD gain from AGI.

    • We already have Ailment Resistance, no one would use it twice.
    • Also, no Ailment skill does enough damage to worry about its damage being reduced by 90%

    • This changes nothing. Even now, the Dps players are never attacked and the tank can handle everything, including interrupt.
    • Even if we add this, this only makes Ailment reactive bosses easier, and the tank itself can interrupt. This only makes Knuckle tanks better.

    • If by this you mean damage reduction on all players, we have a skill already. It's called Chakra. We just need a better cast time.
    Now let's talk about what's really wrong with Knuckles.
    1. Low or No physical pierce on it's main skills.
      1. Unlike DT, Sat, Garyou, etc
      2. Shellbreak has 50% pierce, and does additional damage to high defense bosses, but this extra multiplier is capped at 5. Total multiplier called at 7. Low chance of armour break too.
    2. No Unsheathe attacks
      1. Unlike Most of Katana and DW, also Enchant Sword.
    3. No invincibility frame skills
      1. Unlike Meteor breaker
    4. No high ATK weapon or ATK growth
      1. Unlike Halberd and THS
    5. No free element
      1. Unlike Bow an Bowgun
    6. No all Elemental weapon with high ATK.
      1. Only Earth and Wind for now.
    7. The Stability is low for those high ATK weapons and Stability decreases further by Annihilator.
    8. Goliath is an AOE, which means it can miss by boss simply moving away.
    9. Decoy has 2m range only.
    This is what I propose to fix :
    • Currently, there is a cap on how much the multiplier increases because of enemy defense on Shellbreak. It's 5, as mentioned earlier.
      • Increase this cap to 15/20 or remove it entirely.
      • Change nothing else about this skill.
    • Increase Goliath punch AOE range and increase time at which it stays at 5/5 by 3 seconds.
    • Chakra has an AMPR buff until you get hit.
      • Let AMPR buff stay as long as 30 seconds instead of disappearing once you get hit.
      • Here's a ridiculous suggestion: Have Chakra have 5 seconds of casting time if there is no AMPR Chakra buff. If caster has AMPR Chakra buff, then cast time becomes instant.
    • Make Rush have Normal damage Proration.

    Those are all great suggestions on improving knuckles class to be relevant in parties you shared, now we just need the most influential playerbase to let the developers know why knuckles fall behind other classes and how the developers could make knuckles become relevant!!

    Just simply change to ATK gain from DEX become ATK gain from STR will do, even though will 0.5 ATK per STR is enough.

    OR change the Martial Skill damage calculation affected by DEX also can.

    martial and crusher skill is good enough, changing the effect and the animation may suffer in the style changing especially for old player when dealing damage and evade.
