If Toram development was measured by refinement....

Just wondering how you all feel about Toram in 2020?

How well refined is the game now, compared to when you started?

 

Need much refine

 

Aside from dead weeks like this week we currently have, it has everything I expected from a class-less game

 

the game is a lot better now, but the community is much worse

 

XD i feel like i become toxic over time when i pt with random.
Not that they r bad but sometime when u pt with the same ppl over and over you learn their playstyle while random pt u got to learn it and finger cross that they r good.

Like tend to pt with my tankers friend that more of a "stationary tank" then when i pt with random and tanks move all over the map i go like wth.

Or sometime pt with dps that just spam skills no porate and do so little atk. I also goes like wth. I dont mind low atk ppl as long as they contribute like porate or support and do some decent damage (no need to be op but maybe around 20-25% atk rank shud be good)

Why i ended up complaining here...
Anyway, i love the game, the graphic , cute avarta ...i enjoyed dress up my cha... that why i still dont play other games

 

I feel like it's at +A atm failing over and over to get to +S, although I would say it has had it's +S moments but somehow they dropped from +S to +A.

After this hanami event I feel a little disappointed, it's like they don't really care anymore or even understand their game and what players want. Just another enhancer xtal that not many people are going to use, when they could make an op/decent xtal and get people buying their gems in the shop making them money and making people feel an incentive to play and farm.
Not even new npc weapons this year, no whale event this year either, which I understand it's a collab but they could have made their own version of it, like a giant fat cute flying potum we all kill and get points and prizes. That whale event was good for toram, it was fun and it made people login into their game and want to play toram.
Also I don't understand why they have not made new op weapon drops since proto clarity rose, or updated P. ava with a new difficulty and new weapons. The amount of money they made with people buying gems in shop during road to megiston must have been big. So why don't they repeat what works, a new op weapon or item that isnt an easy drop making them money and making everyone farm and feel incentive to play the game as I mentioned before.

Even the new map designs don't feel the same anymore, maybe that's just me but if you look at the earlier maps there's just more detail and effort to them, most of the new maps just feel dull to me.

Complaints aside, It's still my favorite game and compared to other mobile games and how much you can do in this game I'll still be playing it over any other game but I do feel like the developers of the game don't put as much effort anymore and event drops are getting really meh.

Hopefully gespent will be good this year and will have a new op drop we can farm and make spina, last year it was trashed and ruined by modders destroying prices.
And 5th anniv is almost here, so usually the game goes back to +S for a while.

 

Its +E atm.
It goes to +S when events like gespenst neo usasama volga or any new boss with insane xtals stat comes.
And it remains +S whole anniv month.
+A on halloween and Christmas
Rest are just +C to +B
While rainy being exception of +E

 

Uhm... Thunder Axe? Hello? Also the new Red Steel Tonfa knuckles with ridiculously high base ATK? They weren't op enough or what? And other NPC weapons/armors that I won't list here since there are lots of them

For the whale event, they are meant to be collaboration exclusive, which explained why it HAS to be unique, so a new "regular event" boss with similar function won't do good

Beside, you kinda forgot the BS/Syn 4 tier update, which made Proto outshined by the new stats (not completely, but I think most people would go for the new A10FC20etc. in term of damage, unless it's a sturdy target with high DEF. Proto is still good, don't get me wrong, but Proto is no longer the overlord), and that update was a complete ka-boom that changed the perspective of players forever

And RoM was never meant to be a place to get OP drops, too, it's just an event with (somewhat) high difficulty bosses, dude. Just calm down

 

They definitly did some improvements but overall the game is still lacking content. There are definitly some features which could be expanded like maze or challenge dungeons, but they aren't. Just in general this game is lacking endgame content like constantly present high difficulty bosses, dungeons, raids, pvp, whatever. Right now you grind gear to have the gear. Nobody actually needs elemental 2s+s gear for any content in this game.

And certain events really show their lazyness *cough* p.ava for 3 (?) times without ANY change

 

I'm talking about something more rare and exclusive, proto was a hard drop and when initially released was extremely over powered, ik it's become somewhat outdated now.
It did the developers good too because people where buying gems in shop in mass because they finally made an event drop that looked awesome, was op and was worth doing a gem run for, as they did with luxen previously, not op bit it was more harder to get.
Thunder axe drop was an easy drop and there's nothing very special about it imo, I'm using it as a sub on my dw and occasionally on my tank.

And I never said rom or any event must exclusively have only over powered drops, I'm just saying releasing something that everyone will want, something harder to aquire maybe twice a year isn't a bad idea. Makes them money and makes us the players some spina. But I do understand the game needs to be balanced and cater to newer players too, but I feel like it's been a while since there was a really worthwhile over powered drop.

and you guys can still look at the "bright side of things"

just look at new generation games :
Blade and Soul revolution,Diablo Immortal,Genshin Impact,DR,... and more that i probably don't remember has better content than this game ever had,better customization features even.

Toerash has a long run of 5 years,it had it's prime for 2/5 time there,asobimo just lost their touch and can't keep up

pretty sure they probably fired alot of own competent devs before/during the pandemic.

 

U mean those new gen games which play for themselves

 

+A for pre tier 4 skills since at that time, that was the most enjoyable era that I played. It is not +S due to Knuckles, DW and Mage class discrimination for having the lowest damage weapon class on that era.

That era has less toxicity and is friendly enough for new starters of the game.

When tier 4 is released,the class discrimination starts for classes that has no tier 4 skills, making it harder for newcomers to find a party to level up to 150 so it downgraded to +C. Not much a big downgrade as it helps the classes weak back then stronger, making it the infamous "Finale Online" era.

Mage class which hardly gets a party at tier 3 era became the most used weapon class on the tier 4 era but later on replaced into "Kirito Online" when cap level170 came unlocking pre nerf OP DW skills.

When mods became rampant during Hell Gesp and Neo Maton event, it dropped to +E. I did enjoy the bosses but the mods kill the fun out of it.

When Rollback occurred, It dowgrade into +6, that was the most ridiculous incident. Seriously, the devs are so irresponsible with their server maintenance that caused most veterans to quit the game.

Post rollback up to present is an overall +9. After that incident, it became a dull game to play with some repetitive events and a more messed up economy. The new additional skill trees, tier 4 smith and synth skills and new difficulty boss events are not enough to patch up the scar it left behind.

This is just my opinion and what I can say about this game development in general.

 

Genshin Impact? Check the gameplay...

 

K genshin impact and albion online might be exception only these 2 thats its rest are just flat out garbage just same auto play with different skins. Blade and soul revolution and dragon raja are practically same game with 2 different skins.

 

toram addicts man,you talk like you never walk outside the sunlight to try other games before.

i tried most of them and can be sure for you the auto doesn't even useful for 1/10 of the gameplay,it's only used was to finish some stupid chore dailies that barely pays importance.

in PvP and main dungeon challenge modes you turn on auto = auto get forked.

 

OPPPPPPPIIIIIIIINIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNSSSSSS.

I can clearly see u grinding in blade and soul redemption getting those +10 refines on gears joining clans completing quest using auto play.
Same goes for dragon raja.
Same for A x E
Same for idk every other game which has different skin but same core.
Obviously anyone will turn off Auto in PVE and dungeon coz dungeon boss will fuk u up same goes for other players.
Does that make it better and like have more content.
And yeah i am currently playing those so called games u mentioned
so far only game that ive liked is darkness rises albion online and kings raid.
Rest are just lame and boring repeated version of one another.

 

The community? that makes me a little confused.. At least here in the forums people are very cool, or at least ok.
Never have that many bad experiences with the players in game, they did happen but not so many times.

Yh, most people here are pretty soft regarding that. As soon as you play other games you will notice that insulting each other is pretty casual. I am not saying that this is good or whatever. Just pointing out how it is
