Personally, I think there should be an official game guide, for a number of reasons.
    • There's little to no explanation of progression in the game. By the time a new player realizes that bigger numbers on their gear wont be enough to stop the "Easy Mode" bosses from 1-shotting them will be around the same time they realize that they fked up already and should've made a farming mage.
    • After that, there's leveling your character efficiently and actually how/where to use that farming mage. It'll also be around this time that they'll have to delete their first character completely because the build was a mess, probably stats everywhere and/or wasted their resets.
    • And if they're somehow still playing the game through all of that persuading of not playing, then they'll have to get over the hurdle of why the fk are these bosses 1 shotting me seemingly randomly? Why am I back to doing no damage to them? Why why why... Questions they wouldn't really need to ask if they had easy access to boss stats/information. Knowing which bosses will say, murder you and your whole family if you tumble them is pretty helpful information for a beginner... who now has to remake another character from scratch because their build so far kinda relied on it to deal damage/stay alive. Or maybe they dont really have an option except inflicting ailments on bosses... like knuckles... tl;dr - A game guide that gives boss stats and ailment reactions.
    • And the last but perhaps the most important reason they should add a guide: Because it'd be proof that they play their own game outside of their modded GM Accounts and know what issues it has/how to make the game better.

Unironically, and unfortunately, the "Game Guide" they released is completely useless/unhelpful. A new player getting curb stomped is going to die and wind up seeing the "Easy Mode" option. And ofc they're going to go through the main story. That's the only semblance of linear progression they have... until it starts kicking their teeth in on easy, but still. I think the most useful tip they give, though they didnt mean it this way, is: Join an experienced Guild. Not optional (unless you're an idiot, like me). Because if someone far more experienced isn't walking you through it, helping you with it, this game can be a frustratingly hellish purgatory of an mmo.

Maybe most of 'em got used to spoonfeeding MMOs.
remove Easy difficulty and Set a Damage limit to bosses at certain difficulties. Or at least make difficulties unlockable when the player has already finished the "Normal" difficulty of the boss.
Powercreeping is taboo for the new player experience as it prevents the learning experience. Spoonfeeding is disgusting as well. Imagine experience player bombarding newbies with "You should learn this" "Your combo should be like this" and shit.

They already do it on you tube Ive seen tons of people copy pasting from you tube videos while their combos are trash or newbies thought that one gut ns would do same damage.

stating the obvious and adding new mysteries.

    what is this?

Furthermore, there could be a better chance for certain items to drop due to level differences among the members."
"*The condition above only applies when forming a party with other players.
Please note that there will be no changes to item drop rates when forming a party with a Mercenary or pet."

Furthermore, there could be a better chance for certain items to drop due to level differences among the members.

there is better drop in a party due to level difference?????(or high/low level gives you better loot)

edit: im not the only that saw this :v

This is somewhat amusing. Are coryn club, forums, discord and other forms of free information not guides? Are Asobimo's mistranslated skills and tons of unrevealed, unoptimised boss/skill/stats information a type of top secret code for us to decipher like researchers and mathematicians? Most of us are already heavily relying on guides that others have made. The playerbase isn't filled with geniuses who got to the top without a single peek at coryn, discord, forums etc..

Speaking of which, Asobimo's system has many useless and unoptimised stats/skills. The presence of guides would prevent newbies from using trash builds and thinking they're doing meaningful danage. Full Additional Melee, No CR, Full Flee rate, 1000 Def etc., these builds come to mind.

Rather than being used to working things out alone, you're used to garbage games.

nah, "*the condition above only applies when forming a party with other players"
you can go solo, after reading that again it says:
"there could be a BETTER chance"
then, there is no lower drop chance when someone carry you on bosses, but maybe a better drop chance???
i droped a lot of xtalls with friends, always thinking that only luck affects drop, but what if the lowest/highest char on your party have more chance to get some items?
makes sense for the lowest, 50%+ of my xtalls drop are from my old tank that was only lvl 150, but my friends (dps) had lvl 190 (the max lvl when i had my bowgun tank) and they most of the times didnt get any xtalls
