If you talking about solo play where you tanking as well ye.
Casting it solo might easily get the right timing for escape than using it in a long ass combo tho.

 

and exactly HOW MANY DUALS are complaining here? These skills are pretty useful, but if you're going hardcore dps, put down the 1h and pick up a 2h.
shining cross can be pretty useful for kiting bosses, aside from the fact that you can only use it thrice at most. it said MP and HP is restored, but I didn't see much MP restoration. that's kinda a pity. I do suspect it might be unsheathe tho, and people might be tempted to go full ode and spam sabre aura+Shining cross.
I'm not really that excited for shining cross, more for storm reaper. now we can position however we like, behind the boss, 12m behind it, or 8m in front of it.

well, we'll see.

 

So, with all the dw skills in full display, dw is basically a soloist char(as it was in the begining)

 

Any idea why susuki's pj have high defense and ASPD when Storm Reaper was actived?

 

The armor and add gear prolly has custom stats to help with the test.

Like.. 3k DEF, 1k ASPD for armor, 3k MDEF, 1k ASPD for add gear. or a mix of both in between just to reach the mdef/def/aspd he had.
