Inquiry bout Burst build

Considering l am a Finale oriented mage, I wanna venture into the burst style aswell~
What is recommended? Seeing that l want to retain maximum of my dmg with minimum input in CSPD equips [aka towards low budget/ 1s equip only] ?
With ns equips, l reach 3k matk,
Risking bout 400 matk for 1k cspd, l can attain about 1.3k cspd
What is the minimum requirement for a decent burst cast time?
I know instant cast needs 6k+ cspd (..right?) so..what ‘penalties’ with lesser cspd? Like..not risking too much time(under 3 sec) in casting (..finale is risky nuff x3 )
Considering l have all mage skills( - burst) n ‘high cycle’ for cspd, l just need those 2 right?

Is it worth it to get burst(neutral n not getting into the whole crit thing) ?

you can make burst your 2nd dps
i.e you have 2k mp
cast 2 impact-finale (4stack burst)
maximizer
another finale (6stack burst)
your mp will be 500 enough to cast impact-burst (7stack burst)
no need high cspd (just make sure not use queen staff xD).
or just spam javelin until enough to instant cast it.

Description says it depends on int..
So if l return to ‘300 something cspd’ with 3k int, will it make a decent secondary dps skill?

When it comes to making new builds/adding stuff to build, my mind becomes jumbled mess @.@

 

I’d say the minimum CSPD for a Burst-only mage would be 1k since it’ll reduce the required stacks for an instant cast burst by half. So it’ll take 4 magic skills for it to be instant. With 1k CSPD and maxed chain cast, an easy combo setup would be arrows > javelin(save) > impact(swift) followed by impact > burst(smite) > ender. And if you use high cycle, you can switch arrows out for any quick combo starter ^^

also it’s better to use elemental staff/MDs to avoid flinching with javelin with this setup. And with elemental advantage I’ve been able to deal up to 700k with burst using MD. Since finale can’t ultise elements, it’d be great to take advantage of this as well if you can!

Emm, my original area is using general burst combo without cspd gear tbh ^^; Similar with combo suggested by wimzi (he also an toram utuber, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPMeGYxeKWW2aZUMES8awYg), I was using two phase type burst combo in old days, mine just use sonic as combo starter instead of magic arrow. However, I got a conclusion that dps gain is way higher for stacking up cspd than increasing matk (it's extremely hard for 2 phase burst combo to hunt boss fast tbh)...But anyway, following was my answer to burst without cast gear and high cycle


Extra:
If u r dagger mage (dagger is way better than sub md for solo since u can maintain poration more easily) u can even try

1. spike dart>poison dagger (save) > impact (swift)
2. impact > burst (smite) > fin (smite)

Or if u love fighting close range

1. smite > impact (save) > shell brk (swift)
2. impact > burst (smite) > shell brk (save) > fin (smite)

if u also got decoy (which is part of my 195 build I gonna release ^^, it is pretty fun.

To me, what make mage fun to play is not dps, is the flexibility it gives attracted me (tbh, mage dps low compare with other weapon, but it is stable)

 

i got gsw + decoy + ????, since u, Nive chwan and Ardella chan suggest me to do so ^^;
i would like to collect more test info for next generation mage in lv200

 

Well, if lv3 wiz skill is strong, finale mage should be really happy but not burst mage x.x. Burst consume poration a lot so I am pretty worried that whether adding one more magic attack skill simultaneously will be sustainable... But wiz skill can definitely allow more flexibility as damage can be dealt by the cat now and mage can do other things like healing or building up poration
