Is Asobimo fvcked?

Is asobimo starting to need money? Look at the offers of today. Usually its 20 at first purchase, 30 at 2nd purchase and 40 at 3rd purchase,now is vicerversa. Same with all avatars and its weird cuz is xmas coming and shouod be discounted.
Soon will they start to erase trade from game or not? and so all cancer will disappear? =)

 

people either get money for xmas, or they are more willing to spend because xmas.

Nope, whoever team is responsible for in-game sales and transitions are not very good at inital glance. Real value financing off in game purchases such as orbs are a mess when you compare how relevant and their impact on the game in correlation to how it can be aquired without real life cash. It's kind of complicated to talk about and have someone on the same terms of understanding. I don't understand half of it myself, but it's easy to see the people working in this game needs more resources. I have been wondering to myself for the longest time- why does Asobimo split their managment up to where people are working and constantly updating different games? Urgh... (put all your concepts into one game and make it big; then advertise the f out of it...).

Sorry for the ramble. Sales in this game not balanced to the point toward P2W vs. F2P. Open hundreds of chests, participate in a whole lot of events, and get like... 9 orbs after all that hard work and time. Meanwhile... purchase the daily ×3 orbs for 1USD 3 times. The true value of orbs are 35c per 1. I have only seen a sale that beat this ratio before once (although I'm not a veteran by many means). It was Orbx5, get x15 free I think.

Hoping for a Toram 2 (out of Alpha maybe?) one day, but that will be difficult because it will have to be decided by Asobimo CEO and not anyone who is actually involved with the creation and development of this game. Frusterating because this MMO I believe has high potential even on mobile. Regardless I will continue playing and I won't give up hope for what this game can be.

 

Is all you ever do is shitpost about removing trade without actually offering realistic solutions to the problem?

If asobimo needed money, they can just turn into a public company and sell their stock :^)

 

Solution relating to trade/economy/RMT/bots.... hoooo ho that's a huge project to tackle on; I wouldn't even blame the devs if they had no idea how to properly solve it by how things are now. It will take a lot of effort, time, thinking, reasoning, persistence, etc.. It would probably be easier to just continue development and feign ignorance to the issue until you have enough material to make a sequel with a fresh start.

It's not that I don't think it's impossible to address these issues, but for me as I am thinking right now, I think to how long this game has exisited, and for how long it will remain. If I was dev., I would wonder to myself- is it even worth trying to address it all?

The longevity of this game... because it is in a strange position in this "new gen" mobile market... I am not sure...

Its not a shitpost if they quit trade first all non grata people will leave instantly also it will make people to work more in team to get the materials they need (i usuallly see people farming the same but doing it solo and i wonder how many neurones are necessary to think in make a party)
They could quit trade and leave cb but reduce it to 3 elements per day and if u buy 3 monthly tickets u can sell 2 more on cb.
So asobimo would earn money and smiths wouldnt be totally fvcked.

No, not when they have the 11 * 2nd slot items. It's always higher to open 11 when this promotion is available.

 

A true MMO is a game of farming what you need, cooperating with other players (with guilds), interact with players if got PVP (humans competitive instincts), and should promote hard work and patience. If this is your 1st MMO and you learned it to rely on Spina, bots, mods, cheats, glitch... Then you can never appreciate, enjoy, be satisfied on the next game you will play because nothing may last forever (only changes) YOU CAN NEVER RING A BELL. with all that being said, the open trade system made players rely on the things that may create the unbalance and eventually destroy any MMO world if not controlled. it made players seek other ways to acquire the need items/gears even if breaks TOS and becomes a slave to the game's currency system (promote corrupt idealism). MMO is not only a game. its a role playing game that we are unconsciously applying real life disciplines such as hard work, patience, social skills, your principles, decision making, leadership, etc... and should serve as a tool to prepare kids in a more bigger picture which is REAL LIFE.

And only 2 ways to register...
1. Register normally, but everything, like Open Trade, Party, etc. that's even remotely part of interaction with other players be locked until current Main Quest is finished and at a certain level, and until a player has registered an ASOBIMO account with a confirmed e-mail address.
2. Account transfer from Toram, for accounts with more than 2,500 hours of play time logged into . Those who register this way have everything opened to them immediately, and would carry over stuff like Avatars and Special Items, possibly Spina and all equipments (at least as apps, if not as they were)...

 

and there are players doing mmo as job via RMT, and most players became so fixated to a player many even got emotionally affected.
Is botting 24/7 fun? spending whole day shouting "add me" in rakau fun? botters, mods, refunders account being banned fun? does removing/re-making trade will remove the fun? A player who gets stuffs via bots, cheats, etc doesn't really play the game. they just making it looked like they are playing the game.

 

Sounds like a personal problem

 

People who play Toram are mostly kids, virgins, weebs and adult as a very small percent. They play this game to look at pantsu, not for fun. If they want fun, they would already have PCMR to play MHW or F76 or EVEO or just die at Pochinki.

 

I'm sure it's fun for them to look at pantsu and roleplay in sofya :^)

 

Emotionally affected, huh... reminds me of this female player I read about online, where she was an... enchanter? or something... She just buffed the whole group, then there's this one other guy in same party with her and the same class as her, but much higher level, who just overwritten her buffs... all of them. Then proceeded to humiliate her... and she was in tears as she left the group...
