Is Cdmg+/Cdmg+% important?

Usually most equips, and arms l see, have both or atleast the ‘cdmg+ flat’ stat..
I was wonder why is it exactly so important,
Can this stat be overlooked?
(It does consume half of the mana l guess?)
Both in terms of classes that have str and that dont (..l forgot if there was any class without str at this point).

 

Critical dmg boosts your.. critical damage. It's very self explanatory, I am no mathematic, I just know the more Critical damage you have the better. But Crit damage alone won't do sh*t without good ATK. and that critical damage Flat is really nice. ehh

Its a multiplier, the most common one you could get. Of course its important. Elementals works better but it only works for certain elements. 10% cdmg would give you about 18-19 flat critical damage with 250-260 str. My rule of thumb is to half the crit damage count when comparing it with other multipliers like srd% and unsheathe. Due to 255 str gives you 51 flat cdmg, so from 150% to about 200%. 20 flat cdmg worth about 10% srd(a bit less actually, more like 7-8%) and so on. The more stacked it gets the less significant the increase is. You get a crap ton of it from armors and weapons regardless, so its still very crucial stat to have. 10%+20 cdmg gives you about 28 flat cmdg, about 14% worth of multipliers compared to srd%/lrd%/damage to ele%. You can see how much it gives you the damage boost.

Lez say if u have 300 cdmg you will hit 3x more dmg given u crt and is 0 def.

What is "Srd"? I play for 4 years+, but these abbreviated words never enter my brain .-.

 

Uh I think in that context it means short range damage, not super rare drop gem

 

Reminds me, many melee players are aiming to use death colon now on their weapons for that very tasty 10% srd. ^_^

How do you get 2k+mp though. You'd need a bunch of mp Xtals. Rings gives about 400/500, Ultimate machina for 400, mp boost for 300, food buff for 720, thats about 1.9k mp. Or does the nega mp works only for basemp+mp boost? Or does it include gears and/or food buff?

As I mentioned before, the rule of thumb is to half the cdmg when comparing it to srd/lrd%, short range damage is hard to come by. Death colon's 10% srd should worth about about 24/25 cdmg, due to the stacking of cdmg. So yeah, given the % count, srd% worth at least double the flat cdmg. Srd though, works only for short range skills that is activated on srd range. While cdmg works even for placed skills like crossfire.

 

-2000mp is easy to negate now with the current equipment, xtal and food buff. ^_^

 

Wouldn't you get better result without needing the extra mp buff to overcome the Death Colon negative? I don't think it worth replacing equip/xtal with mp providing one. Might even lose more damage that way.

 

Srd builds are already enjoyed by goliath crushers, you just gotta learn the right balance your character. ^_^

 

You don't really answer the question though. Well, with mom fluck +magiadd3 it will make it 900mp overall. Its basically a minimum of 1 slot for the mp xtal which is the mom fluck, which means its 7%atk vs 10% srd. It's plausible I guess.
