is evasion related to accuracy stat?

does high HIT stat of player reduce the frequency of attacks evaded by bosses (I think it doesn't but want to confirm it here)

same doubt, long back, full crit builds didnt exist. evasion bosses didnt either. Now that both of them actually do exist, does this make hit absolutely irrelevant? Also If bosses some day also have anticipate, doesnt this make the new evasion system based purely on luck?

 

HIT is only used for the accuracy check.
Evasion (on monsters) has a fixed chance of activating and can only be countered with Anticipate.

 

What this guy means by accuracy check is either your attack got dodged or hit (can be graze or purely hit the mobs).
And as being explained by Red_Fox, Evasion has it's own separate check, which can only be affected by evasion rate and anticipate rate

As far as i know, HIT only relatable when being used to fight hard or lower difficulty bosses and can only be effective when being used to fight certain nightmare and ulti bosses (that don't have ridiculous dodge). That's why crit build become one the most effective builds for physical damager (aside from the huge damage boost).
About bosses that have anticipate, never heard of it, not even after the new evasion system. So i can't say if it can ruin it or not. Tho, in the first place people using evasion nowadays as the new back step and to avoid monster auto attack, making it even if the monster have anticipate, it will only affecting people when evading the auto attack.

 

anyway dont bother improving hit cuz boss have like 1k~3k dodge rate (nm~ulti) while max dex class along with 1~20% acc and 10~100 flat acc booster xtall+equip (good possible highest hit is around 1k+ and you still graze in majority ulti diff). the dev is lazy balancing about this stats

unless ur building a merc tank using triple ice cream cuz merc need to hit the boss to get aggro and they cant crit anyways

 

There are some bosses were accuracy is relevant. For instance with full DEX you usually don't graze on S.Roga nightmare.
