Is Finale still the only viable dps for T4?

Hallo, I'm a returning player and currently started out with a mage character. I'm just wondering if finale is still the only viable dps build for T4 skills.

I only have access to T4 skills atm and just found out that it will take me a very long while to unlock T5 and Finale is such a hassle to use, as usual... x.x

when Finale becomes available it is instantly the strongest skill because of it's high constant on the 1st hit.
eventually, and with much investment, other skills may catch up.

but the strongest magic always requires some time or setup, that's a common trope. if you don't like that then playing as a spellcaster is not for you.

 

Yes & No, it's Finale & Burst.
Power or Speed.

Staff gains the most from Power, while Magic Device gains the most from Speed.
