is it better to get Cri for bow or PP for bow when dealing with high def bosses

My bow only done good damage until NM mode bosses ...but when it hit Ulti or High def bosses...my damage suck.

I was thinking about getting half face devil mask & hand made cookie for PP and including Ava stat... I could get up to 24% PP. Sadly I dont have cone bow 3...i wasnot playing bow when it release back then...

But currently im using Bear hat with tuscog. So I will have lower atk and lower cri ...but gain more PP. Would it wroth to invest in PP then?

 

Yes PP will help to get her with good att stats, if your refine is low that can be an issue also. Most bow players normally snipe to armor break before using cf to do more damage if you’re not doing this you can try that also.

This is really dependent on if you are willing to switch between gears every time to maximize damage. It's somewhat hard to make a build that performs perfectly on any difficulty, so most builds either shine most on high difficulty or low difficulty. Of course, don't let the "youtube pros" show you what damage you need because they have lots of resources and barely ever show their low damage.

I would say you'll be fine, if you want higher damage against NM/ULTI then refine your weapons, gain more base ATK, invest in some more crit damage, and add in pp. Though remember that if you only do pp your damage against Norm/Hard might lower. The first three options tend to be the more universal solutions, but gaining pp is not bad honestly, as it would be great against the newer bosses.

 

That’s true but if bow will be his main build then a variety of equips will be useful, more costly yes but useful. For example I intend to have halb as my main build but it will take some time but I will need an inventory of elemental halb and gear to suit it. Now this isn’t necessary but to have the advantage on every situation this is the lengths some people go to.

 

True, but it was just general guideline.
I use bowkatana as my main and never switch gears because I dont really care about really high damage, even though I do high damage anyways. It's just preference, play the way you want to.

 

I agree play your own way not the way youtubers do, you’ll be surprised of how much “better” your own personal build is when compared to some ( not bashing anyone’s build btw just saying that using a person's build may not suit your play style).

 

I prefer crit than p.pierce as a bow user. Snipe exists for high defense bosses. You either become the main damage dealer or be a support by using Snipe every now and then.

 

Well, you just need a better gear I guess. If you're using Pierce gears on top of snipe, the actual worth of the pierce will be halved, since the pierce defense bypass is calculated after the 50% defense reduction from snipe's armor break. Getting more atk would be more efficient.
