Is it just me or fake hit doesn't work anymore?

So i was lvling my Halb yesterday and i tried Fake hit with it, using only self buff combo with Sneak. Normally it should work but somehow boss still chase me after a few combo. This is my combo:
GSW, Sneak, Reflex, Kaikiri, Impact, D.T, Finale.
I let my friend get aggro first, then i just applied fake hit(Cancel AA then use that combo). There are no party buffer skills, Sneak is supposed to hide DT in that combo, and i never do AA. Did i do something wrong, or did something happen to fake hit trick? It's tough to lvling Halb without tanker, since im too poor to keep up high HP+High dmg at the same time.

"Earlier decoy shot both the cast and the shots could be hidden by sneak in boss maps while it would skip sneak on overworld map (vs miniboss/mob)
Now they changed it so that it skips sneak on both maps. I know decoy can eat up the sneak counters very quickly but it still worked regardless.
A little bit later they also "fixed" the generation of self buffer skills (Which includes the crossfire charge, also kairiki which is commonly used as well by bow user). This fix made the infamous 0 aggro trick impossible to do. Essentially sneak would not directly hide their aggro but indirectly it helped remove the aggro of these skills.
Both of these changes were made in secret without a bug report during maintenance which has turned me away from posting aggro related info for now."

 

Welp, that's sad... Just why, Asobimo? Now i know what to do, i will just get rid of Kaikiri then. Thanks man.

 

Not just kairiki you also need to remove gsw and reflex too :^]
Also sneak itself will generate aggro as well from 2nd cast. This is the most bullsht and uncalled fix ever since self buffers very unchanged for almost 3 years and suddenly now they think of fixing it. That too without any bug notice whatsoever.

Fake hit is still possible. The point of fake hit is to use combos without actually hitting the enemy first. Whats not possible is keeping 0 aggro once you have dealt some amount of damage to the enemy already which was a result of a their "fix" just to keep aggro-% stats more relevant.

 

Yeah i guess i need to get some -% aggro gears ... welp, more money.
