Is Strike Stab still useful?

Yes DT is OP right now but how does strke stab fair against it and Chromos Drive?

Strike stab advantage is only low mp cost.
With critical penalty, low multiplier and limited cast range, I'm afraid strike stab will always lose.

 

As far as Chronos Drive, basically every tier 3 skill from any skill tree is better then that. Stab strike is still pretty good DPS, obviously not great as DT but for its cost and cast speed its still an option.

With ailment strike stab is better, pierce aside strike stab damage is not that much lower than DT tbh, I used it a lot when I didn’t have tier 4 and I have to say it does good damage.

as for crt penalty I never experienced that so I question that what the amino site states, I had 100 crt and never hit other than crt with SS, not to mention that there is punish ray which I don’t like using but is useful, so if there is a penalty it may be for swords and not for halb and since we are talking about Chronos vs SS , Chronos is halb only so this doesn’t apply .

 

It's a base crit penalty, so it basically only happens to the CRT stat and the base 25% you normally have. Your equipment will apply normally so it's essentially nothing if you have a lot of equip crt.
