It Can Be Done....

So I set a goal for myself. And I wanted to push myself to accomplish what I had set forth. It started out of anger... and became something beautiful.

When I first heard about DW tier 3 skills being released... I left my old account behind. I had a Lv 80 storm mage that I hated... And I decided to make a new account in order to leave my days of storm mage in the past. I took a DW from Lv0-Lv70 in about 2 days. I was very proud of myself for being able to do this. I left My DW alone, sitting on Lv70 and a Book Of Oblivion.

DW tier 3 was released... And to my surprise you needed level 90.... Not 70. I was very angry. I was angry that I could not enjoy the new update because I was not an "Elite" player that was already at the level cap of the previous update. Furthermore... What this meant was... I had to make another mage. Why? Because getting to a High level.... Requires MMH farming. And as we all know... MMH farming (Especially for long periods of time) requires a storm mage.

So I sucked it up.... I swallowed my pride... I was ready to be called a hypocrite....
So I made a mage... Strictly to farm and level. Drop rate boost R10. EXPBoost R10. ATKUP R10 I started building and building....100 INT the rest LUK.
I told myself... "I WILL GET MY DW SKILLS".

And in the moment, Fueled by rage... I set a goal. I wanted to go 0-90 in 2 days. No buying MMH, No cheating. No doing shady crap... But simply farming, and turning in quests.

I soon learned... It CAN be done.

I did it. In a 48 hour period, I farmed over 50 stacks of MMH... And I made Lv0-Lv90 in 2 days' time. The only thing I bought... (I regretfully did this, btw) Was 1 stack of Bnuts. After I was Done farming, I made it to Lv89 and EXP bar was @99%. I spent all of 3k Spinas on one stack of Bnuts, and only used half of them... And poof, Lv90.


So What do you guys think? Do you think you could/Would farm 2 days straight to reach 90? Would you do whatever it takes to achieve your goals?
What's your personal record on The most levels in least amount of time? Lemme know in the comments, guys...

I couldn't do this, my highest lvl is 87 n as much as I want dw skills, I'm not gana rush, ima jat take it slow, since I can outdps some ppl who are capped, I stopped caring about capping lol

 

It was brutal, man. I won't do it again. I had to rest for 2 days.

 

Nice, Im a scrub that buys nisel wood/nuts/mmh to level my various bses up in the hopes that I make enough to pay for the next level up.

 

I feel ya, I hate farming for an hour, I can only do it if its a fun party lol

 

I just farm the new boss, I used to binge on levels a lot, I take it slower now

 

Most of my lvling is done at new bosses, or if I get 1m+ I'll blow it on mmh xD

 

I think I had about 30 hours in New Moon. About 15 at a time straight farming. That itself for 2 days is rough. Then lump in travel time, Finding parties, Turning in quests, and such... It was about 17hrs/day.

 

Congratulations for achieving your goals! But I have so many things to do that all I can afford is 4h/day of farmming q.q

 

I usually take it easy and just avoid mmh farming because it's boring but this time after the update I used my highest level char, my eng main dps mage and used books to level on Yelb and mq for about 3 hours in total and in those three hours I leveled form 81 to 84 and I think I did a great feat.

 

I hate mmh farming , so slow compared to bnuts- I'll rather turn in till lvl 75 then level farm bosses till 90. MW and roga an yelb giv awesome exp an xtals to sell.
but yu have alotta strength to farm that long big ups lol

 

Thanks so much guys. I love hering about you guys doing impressive things as well. I know a lot of people have done much more than me... And With less time on thier hands. I want to get better and better so That I can reach the stature of Some of the more amazing toram players like Bow-Guy, Sakuraid, Kariin, And NovaOne.

I know there ar tons o Awesome players out there...Im sorry if I didnt name you.. I just popped off at the mouth from the top of my head... But You guys (All of you amazing players I have met) have inspired me. I plan on soaring higher than I ever have before.... And DW tier 3 is amazing. It will definitely help.

My Net goal I have in Mind.... Is to make a 1:1 AgiDex Dual Weild With Drop rate Boost r10 And try and put together some interesting Combos to use on bosses.
Getting about 3-7 xtals nd selling them should grant me around 5-8 mil, And thats enough to get all my toons Lev 95.

You all inspire me to keep pressing on and doing the best I can <3

 

But... Why didn't you use your old storm Mage to farm mmh and transfer it to your new account? Wouldn't it be easier? :/

 

I sort of made a promise to myself That to abide by the EULA, If I made a new account, I would forsake the other one. All I brought over was a bit of gear. Like 4 items. I didn't use my Lv80 Storm off the old account simply cause I didnt wanna transfer my stuff back over... And I told myself I wouldnt use both accounts.

On the subject of account sharing and account trading. Even tho Im NOT giving anyone else any accounts... Or taking someone's... I still sort of feel like using two accounts is cheating. Not that it really is.... I know a lot of people who use multiple accounts.. and thats ok... It provides you with absolutely no advantage... And I get that.. Im not calling anyone a cheater.. But just for my own personal preference, I only use my one account because it made me feel weird using two.

I still have my old account tho its still GM o Nightshade. So If I ever have to reassign Vices... Ill have to use it. Again, Not saying its cheating to use multiple accounts, nor am I calling any one person a cheater... Just saying that for Me personally... It just feels wrong to use two....
