While yes, it is being quite naive to fall for such a trick, do consider not everyone knows ALL the ways that one can be scammed, and avoid them.

Certainly majority must have been scammed once in the whole duration of their game, be it even 1spina, but they have been.

Since l usually read the scammer post just to remain updated, l knew what to avoid, except this is very much new to even me ._.)

Thou I'll say, l didnt think such a way existed (nor am l wasting time to think of on such things) , it is quite the trick, in a way? Manipulation at its finest, in easier words? Hook, line and sinker ^^)

Do u know the similaries of a scammers & those who symphatize them. They had the same mindset.

They always highlight the weakness of the victim so they can justify/reason the actions of the offender, instead of criticizing the immorality of the act.

And, about why people want scammers to get ban, isn't it obvious even IRL scammers get punished by law.

 

This has been around for while, there's also people who do it with 1st anniversary weapons, shouting buy 1st anniv knuckles 400m and then put it on cb for 100m @-@
I like to troll them and say I'm selling because i know they get all excited and think I bought their item and then they run to the cb all eagerly like their moms just arrived to fetch them from school only to be disappointed I didn't buy their item.
It's funny when they are so specific too, they'll say "B>bow atk 178+3 refine dye c64" or "B>1st anniv staff 58atk +2 refine",
If that isn't enough for someones brain to click and realise it's a scam then I duno...

Anyways people have become more aware of this now and when these scammers try this people are calling them out in shout so it's not easy to fool people this way anymore.

people i shared this here so that new players will know this trick and that this is already an old trick that they should be wary of.

Educate the possible victims and not blame them.

 

I mean, I don't particularly like re-sellers, both in-game and irl. I don't like how the guy took advantage of people's weakness but punishing people because of their greed is refreshing.

new player who camped mino, new player who was given a starter budget from one of their friends, new player who managed to sell an item given to them by friends, basically a lot. Dunno if youre youre pointing out that new players arent supposed to have spina or if you have spina or manage to make one then that disqualifies you for being a new player.

again. im posting this for awareness so that scammers like these wont be much successful and not for you people who are so good at playing that they dont get scammed. go brag on other threads.

 

Usually when I saw them, I will try to find the item in local CB and put it on all cb. If the scammer's item is 3m, I will put mine for 300k(twice amount of the actual price). So if someone actually fell for this trick, he/she only lose 300k instead of 3m.(and I get 150k)
