    Accidental Party Crasher
I was guilty of this for a while before I found the forums and a friend who explained the dynamics of a party suited to my character build.

When some one new to the game is graciously invited to a party and runs around targeting one enemy at a time. They don't draw in any enemies to the member who can kill multiple enemies at once and actually ends up stealing one every once and a while taking forever to kill it. They don't do it on purpouse, but because of it the party is a lot less efficent.

    Error code 126

The game not letting you join a boss battle, causing you to look like a jerk.

I'm guilty of serveral of these tbh,
I intentionally will sit out of boss battles or join late if people decide to rush start while I'm still MP charging.. pisses me off tbh...
I will sit down in a middle of a boss fight if I feel like I'm carrying the group which I do very often.. sad when you party with "tanks" and "breakers" ect yet I'm still ranking #1 in all charts besides support.. gotta make the scrubs feel some sort of importance...
If I see some begginer useing a wrong combo setup(which there is no wrong ones) but when they complain I'll offer then my opinion... as for the rest.. ehh.. I need a jerk move called the BeasT now.. sounds fun

Should be a name for That party leader who invites people to party, then announce their "bag full brb" And teleports to town 3 minutes later.. Only to either go afk or dc while away.

Forcing you to re-party or leave and lfp again.

Also- people who get passed leader after leader leaves, then they themselves just leave and disban without saying anything.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Maybe it wasn't added because I didnt have a name for it.
Before when farming goblins I would look for specific parties such as all mage parties. I would get invitations where there are no mages in the party.
Now when farming Golden skeletons I would say, "lfp Golden skeleton Mage" and I constantly get invited to parties farming regular skeletons. Seriously people! Learn to read!

Possible Titles for this Jerk move anyone?

    The selfish

I just met a guy today at skele farming. I(mage..lvl55) and my friend (archer lvl50) were farming abd try to inv more people.

Then i invited this guy... he was shouting "looking for pt mage-healer long run..." sonething... but there was no indication that he wanted a full mage party. As soon as he joined me. The first thing he said was "kick non-mage"

So yea...i kicked him. But that was annoying.

I hate the rush start one. I was in a 4-man party several weeks ago fighting the new Golem with a guy who was trying to take all the ranks for himself while the mages were MP charging outside. For those who don't know, note that you can cast Charge at the last second of a boss battle (right before it ends) and it'll still replenish your MP. I do that but I sometimes still need to charge at least one more time outside for full bars. Anyway, he kept rushing into the battle before us to get Tank, Breaker, and Support. His plan: 1) Cast Protection (?) or some support skill 2) Smash or Sonic Boom it and 3) Keep aggro or at least try to until I steal it (unintentionally). If I took enough dmg to become tank, he would try to steal the Attacker rank while I was dodging to avoid Flinch. It was crazy. I was the Attacker (mage) and we had a 2h Warrior who could take either Tank or Breaker to be fair, but this guy wouldn't yield. It went on for a long time so I said I left to farm at Athema Ruins. I felt bad for the other two who couldn't get anything. Smh.

    >> I'll give the name/title "Glutton Rank(er)" to this move/guy. Given to whoever rushes into boss battles before his/her pt members in an attempt to get more than one rank.

I remember that! It happened maybe once or twice. The first time was at BD a long time ago and I was so sorry 'cause I thought it would never happen to me. Kinda like those 'be careful of house fires; you could be next' VHS tapes they would make you watch in elementary school.

Lol There sure is. Not gonna name names but I know. During beta I saw him in town selling xtals 2-3x worth the generally accepted price...yet he pm offers players who actually farm them only 30-50% the generally accepted price. I call this jerk move DeBeers

That's actually what old school merchants do, it's the classic buy low/sell high technique for making gold. More often than not these people will prey on the desperate or naive who got a decent drop and then as you said, sell it for double or sometimes triple the price he/she bought it.

It's nothing new in the world of MMO's, but imo, these guys would sell their mother for two extra spina, so be wary of anyone who takes a particularly keen interest in your rare drops when you shout in town cause these guys are pros at scoping out the chat for desirable items, even going so far as to just stay in town all day scouting for cheap items to resell. And as a pro tip they will PM non stop if you show any reluctance to sell, this is usually a fairly good sign that the Hyena is on the hunt, LOL.

I am a pro at this, I do it fairly often. Its nothing bad.. this technique has been around since the birth of MMO's and a good way to make spare pocket change. Altho I don't spam PM I simply make my offer and move on. Works wonders. No hate.

Oh Yea, I agree there's nothing necessarily 'wrong' with it. I have known many people who make mountains of gold doing this simply by following market values and such, but I've also known a lot douchebags who do this and then have the nerve to brag constantly about ripping someone off. There's a fine line, though. That's why I always make sure to sell my items for the most fair and reasonable price so that way I can spot a lowballer merch and tell him to piss off if I have to, lol. Also, patience in selling helps loads.

    New-B alert

today i was farming Kijimu and someone yelling that he/she want to buy stacks of red petal. And this New-B guy sold 6 stacks of red petal to the buyer for 100s per stack.

okay, to be fair , the buyer told the New-B guy to name the price and the New-B said 99s.

well, i still think it is a bit unfair anyway because the buyer should know that fair price of a stack of red petal is around 500s to 1k per stack (i used to sell to my friends at 1k each stack). And buyer should said something ..like offer a reasonable price. and not ripping the seller.

so i whispered the New-B and talked to him. it was only his 4th day in the game and he didn't know much why people want this petal so he sold it cheap.

I told him the market value and hopefully he wont get ripped off next time.

ps. i really hate people who sell thing over price. i almost get ripped off with armor and staff .... so it is very frustrating to see this happened to other people.

How about when you create a skele farm pt and someone shouts they're a healer so you invite and they never heal anyone
