Knight Templar (1H+Shield) Experimental Build

    Since lv 110 cap

    I had urge to build a Semi DPS 1H-Shield (it only an Experiment), and I want to share my thought~

    It my first time Create a Sword based char ..., so if i write something wrong..., i hope u guys can tell me ;)


    The Purpose of this build : A tank build that had potential to become DPS and hold Aggro at same time..., (Actually u must hold aggro to dealt more damage xD)


    Tier 4 Shield had skill named : Guard Strike
    (Dealt Damage every time succesfull Guard - damage dealt based on refine value of shield + guard power)

    Some info I found about skill


    Guard Strike

    - Damage doesnt scale with P.atk , so no matter u going full STR or Full vit the damage not gonna change much ....,
    - Guard strike can miss (raise dex become optional)
    - Guard Strike can Crit (STR based build)



    im trying to make a semi DPS 1H sword build

    This build still on WIP (currently still lv 32 thou xD)

    STR - VIT - DEX(optional) - but i recommended to increase at least 50 Dex for accuracy
    2:2:1
    Personal Stat : Crit



    Total SP Need : 128 (not Included *optional)

    Future Build

    Hard Hit - 5
    Astute - 6/10 (Optional to max it or not - at least take 6 for 10 second Crit buff)
    Trigger Slash - 6 (Mana cost reduce)

    Shield Mastery - 5/10 (Optional)
    Shield Bash - 5
    Force Shield - 10 (for max HP)
    Magical Shield -10 (For max HP)
    Shield Cannon - 5
    Aegis - 10
    Protection - 10
    Guard Strike - 10
    Guardian - 10 (it greatly increase chance to guard at lv 10)

    Assault Shield - 1
    Provoke - 10 (for Tank Purpose .-.)
    Rage Sword - 10 (Potentialy become our main Damage skill - It dealt 50% bonus damage with Shield)


    Safe Rest - 5
    HP Boost - 10
    Fighter High - 10
    (Optional)
    Short Rest - 5
    MP Boost - 10

    MP Charge - 1/10 (optional)

    *I'm Planning to take Gloria Skill in Future,



    *Damage test on :
    Forestia

    Lv 32 - Str : 99 - Dex : 30
    Shield : Black Shield of Delusion + 8 (guard power 32%)
    Sword : Earth Element, 10% damage wind, atk7%

    I dealt about 1-2K each guard Strike hit, and 3-4K when crit

    with same setup

    Warmonger

    Dealt about 1-1.5K each guard strike, and 2-3K when crit


    This build literally sill on Experiment .., so i can't give much detail about the damage for now ;)

    still cant come out with combo yet..,
    I dont want to randomly create combo xD

    later i''ll update the combo...,

    Just want to let you know there isn't a bug when you use save on guardian. I'm using it just fine in 1 mp combo. Did you check the skills after guardian to make sure they add up to 600 the same as guardian?

    And it's been proven that with guardian you lose attack the more people that are in the aura. And it only reduces the damage of the other party members not the caster

    :confused: Im just confused about this part of what u said:

    Coz many players said that it reduces the damage of the caster & NOT the party members. :confused:

    i like it because it's not a 1-stat-build, it's just like i would make it :)
    shield attacks are really cool.

    if Guard Strike is not atk-based i can use it on my Hermit, yay~
    (the Hermit is the counterpart to my Illusionist)

    Guard strikes dmg did in fact increase with p.atk just the increase was very low its better to focus on guard power and shield refine to increase the damage done
    Guardians atk nerf does NOT act on party members staying inside the aura i have said it and will keep repeating
    Guardian will nerf the ATK/MATK of the caster ONLY when the party members stand inside the aura, while soloing the skill can be excellent guard rate buff without atk reduction

    oh yeah i forgot to mention 1 thing..,

    Guard strike only proc to target u currently hit (targeting)
    so if u were gang-bang by mobs.., only the main target will proc the Guard Strike .-.
