Lenwok's Pet Levelling List

Sharing my pet leveling list for everyone's reference

1-50: Masked Warrior Norm/Hard
51-80: Masked Warrior NM
81-90: Masked Warrior ULT
91-110: Cerb NM (no tumble battle)
111-140: Cerb ULT (no tumble battle)
141-160: Ven NM (avoid laser, bring your best DPS carry, and if pet dies, suicide and ask for first aid help )
161-200: Ven ULT (avoid laser, bring your best DPS carry, and if pet dies, suicide and ask for first aid help )

List should be the most efficient (to maximise +50% exp pet food buff), considering ease of battle vs pet exp gain. This list also assumes your pet has decent health and good dodge AI (especially for Cerb ULT)

Other interesting options:
1-999 Most minibosses in this game can be continuously flinch+tumble locked with a knux or fu dps char. Works even better with two strong 2h atk mercs alongside you too
1-20 Boss Colon ULT - 10 runs a week for free fairy sewing tool
1-80 Mino (all difficulities) - for collecting mino skins on the side
140-160 Proto Leon - decent merc tank will not die here so you can dps it down from range with -100 aggro (also good spot for weekly emblem reward of 2 fairy sewing tools)
150-175 Wandering Wheel - if you can kill it quickly too with just one 0mp combo...

 

1-90 at minotaur ultimate for me.
ps: are u 1 hitting wandering wheel with paralyze and moeba shot + cf?

 

I find outerwolf and violacoon also a good option for pet lvling until 90

 

slow (assault attack) and freeze (phantom slash)
I'm also one-shotting Masked Warrior NM (and Crystal Titan Hard) with my Unsheathe DW using long 0mp combo too

 

Thanks for the input. I feel that pet exp will always be better grinding at NM/ULT difficulty bosses, so personally would only resort to miniboss farming if it was significantly more efficient (like if my pet doesn't have dodge ai and keeps dying at cerb ult more than half the time)

 

using sly or sturdy pet is not bad

 

The main 4 are steady, sturdy, justice and sly. Some of these are also immune to spikes which is also handy.
I've personally decided to stop training up a pet if they don't have any of these 4 traits (i don't even bother rolling skills for them too). All my unfused fodder pots now main VIT stat too for more health (even if fusing into a dps pet later)

How do we get 50% exp food buff, or do we always get them when we give the pets food?

 

Feed the 3,000 spina option and hope you get the exp +50 buff. No other way about it
