Lock 4 without tec stat, is it possible?

So, i planned to fuse my statter+refine to my bs vit, and i intent to convert my old statter into Luk mage synth.
I wonder if synth works without tec stat (it has 150 prof alrdy) because i don't want to reset until im sure that it works

 

2 things that l havent seen answered yet..
-Can we do lock 4 without tech?
-Lock 3 needs only 1 sp in that skill (with tec) for synthesizing app, what bout lock 4 (with tec)?

 

With 247 DEX and 0 TEC, LVL191 Synthesis Prof 150, 3 customization skill MAX
Lock 3 : 100%
Lock 4 : 62% ( with TEC 255 = 100% )

Prof only affect on how much you can lock
Prof 50 = 2 lock
Prof 100 = 3 Lock
Prof 150 = 4 Lock

Stat from Gear won’t change the success rate, but not sure is it STR affect the success rate like BS Skill.

so it's not possible to get 100% success rate on 5 lock with max synth prof, 255 tec and rest dex?

 

Never try from my side, but read a post before say it’s can only reach around 83%.

 

rip, but i think 200 prof would be useful for synthing HPO by yourself

 

Guess its better for me to cram synth in my bs vit too as well (in exchange it only can leech)

Buy Tasty honey and turn it all into flowey nectar. Will place ya squarely at 150

 

Just use flower nectar craft revitalize 1~4/5 then use tasty honey craft flower nectar.

I suggest you separate your VIt-BS and alchemist, because you still need to leveling your BS till level 290/295.

 

Don't lose hope. There are gears, and skills that uses vit as attack. The very least it won't be a total leech if done right.
(Example, shield cannon use vit for damage.) It will be a very narrow niche but it is doable nonetheless.
