Long Range skill effect

Good day friends. Please explain something.
I understand when they talk about the maximum range of a certain skill, it's simple, but what is meant by long-range effect%? When I try to calculate the damage from the skills in the Coryan Club, How can I calculate this effect for different skills?

 

If your skill is affected by long range skill, then put your long range skill level value in the field (e.g. 5 points means 5%). If your skill isn't affected by it, just leave it at 0%, despite how many points you invested on long range skill.

 

Long range skill effect is refering to the skill "Long Range" from the bow skill tree. It works differently than the normal "Long Range Damage". The long range skill applies to all skills who have a maximum cast range of 12 or more meters and it doesn't matter from what range you actually use those skills. That means independently from where I cast them for instance Dragontooth amd Shining Cross always get the Long Range Skill Damage Boost.

 

Some skills are simply not indicated whether this indicator affects or not.
For example magadachi.

 

It doesn't. Like I said only for skills who can be casted 12m or further away

 

You said you knew about max cast range. Btw, any non-placed skill (ex. placed: storm, finale, cf) which maximum cast range is 8m or above gets damage boost from long range skill. If you know a skill isn't placed (affected by lrd/srd, whack and concentrate) and it can be cast from 8m or more, then long range skill works along with it.
