Update: because toram decided not to sell a gem pack the last four days, the bulk of the gems will be postponed for next event.

Hi guys! Starting today, I am opening my gem shop to the public! I am selling a very large quantity of Super Rare Drop, Legendary, Glory, and Ultimate gems. I literally don't know how many gems we have; it may range from 20 to 100. This shop will be a combination of my gem trade business as well as one that sells gems to forum bidders. We may occasionally have a promo every so often (which include cheap or free gem runs), so make sure to check back this shop regularly!!

Our gems are predominately for event bosses. We do not sell cheap gems outside of promos, and you will probably need to bid quite high to be accepted into a run. If you do win a bid, we’ll go over 3-4 test runs before the actual run. If the run goes smoothly, I may bring you on one or two extra runs immediately after!

We sell quite a few gems here, but we do have high preference for gem traders over gem buyers. Gem run trading is basically when two to four gem run sellers sell to each other the same gem for the same price. Trading gems like this nets us MUCH higher profit than selling gems. Therefore, traders will be given top priority, and will also be rewarded Kit Kat bars for participating in trades.

People who sell me gem runs will also be rewarded Kit Kat bars. More details on Gem Run Sales and Trades can be found below. All gems are Pay Outside. Details:
To enter the lottery, you have to buy my dyes LOL. You will be given one token for each 1k worth of dye purchase... You can place each token into either the DPS lottery or the tank lottery. I will randomly select one token from the tank lottery and two from the DPS lottery.

Apple, Banana, Strawberry, Watermelon, and Peach each enter the lottery. Apple buys a dye for 1k (DPS), Banana for 2k (Tank), Strawberry for 3k (DPS), Watermelon for 4k (DPS), Peach for 5k (Tank).
Apple has 1 token, watermelon will have 4. The total tokens will be:

DPS:
1: Apple
2-4: Strawberry
5-8: Watermelon

Tank:
1-2: Banana
3-7: Peach

I pick a random number from random.org 1 to 8 twice to pick the winners for DPS, and 1-7 once for tank. If anyone wins more than once, they WILL get both slots. Using the RNG on random.org I got 7, 2, 3, so the winners are Watermelon, Strawberry, and Peach.

Details: Even if you can't outbid the highest bidder, I'd still recommend bidding. I also highly consider class, having victory/res/infinity gems, and player skill (i.e. can't risk tanks that tend to fall off map even if high bid). And many times the highest bidders aren't available.

If your prices are lower than half of the highest bidder however I probably won't take you unless we know each other.

Details: Every party MUST pass the test of competency to run (3-5 practice runs in a row without falling). I cannot risk failed gem runs so this is required.

*I honestly do not have any clue how many gems are available, but am told it is in the dozens and likely over 20-30 and may rise up to 60ish. These numbers are only for the current event boss. There are more gems reserved for future ones.

 

~ Gem Run Trades ~

If you yourself have a gem, please consider trading gem runs with us! Trading gems makes 5-20m more profit depending on the gem and event boss, but it is FAR more profitable no matter the circumstance. Below, I'll detail how the gem run trades work, and show you some math on why it is way better for gem owners to trade than to sell!

The Essence of Gem Run Trades
People buy gem runs because they profit off them. They profit because drops are more valuable the raw spina amount they offer. Therefore, by getting only drops instead of raw spina, you get the highest profit possible.

If you understand this, you're golden and should know why I prefer trades so much that I can offer free gem runs for traders and still profit considerably. If not, check out some of the examples below with probabilities

Details and Scam Prevention

Using legendary gem run example: You bring 3 other people with gems into runs for like 1.5m. Then, the next member does the run and sells at the same exact price, until we have done 4 legendary gem runs. In the end you pay nothing (you received 4.5m from your gem, but paid 1.5 each for 3 more gem runs). We pay each time as if we're selling/buying to discourage scamming. The order of the gem runs and pay inside/out will be done on case-by-case basis based on reputation and previous gem run proof. For example, randoms in sofaya or new forums users must bring the first run, and cannot ask for pay outside. More trusted members are allowed to do the run last.

Example Gem Run Trade with Different Gems

Basically, every gem run is like selling so that later gem sellers can't just do 3 gem runs for free, and not give their own gem.
Example (all glory except player 3 legend which is ~600k* less, so 1.4m)

*600k is subject to change... depends on the event boss. For highly profitable ones it'll be higher, for less profitable ones lower.

Note how if anyone leaves/doesn't provide gem, it isn't that much of a scam. Like if player 4 leaves before his run, he still paid 5.4m for the 3 runs.

I deliberately put more trusted people with better proof at the end too so less scam chance.

Okay, so Ultimate is easiest to see why trading is more profitable (because it is guranteed xtal).

Let's say Goldoon xtal worth 6m right now (CB is 6.2m lowest)
Selling ultimate gem 3.5m sounds great for you, but compared to trading with 3 other ultimate gem sellers it loses at least 15m.

You get Goldoon Xtal (6m), fighter uniform app (2.5m), and 15 dyes (2m) from selling, as well as 10.5m from buyers. That totals 21m. Wow! That's a lot of spina! Or is it...

If you trade with 3 others, you get 4 goldoon xtals (24m), 4 fighter uniform apps (10m), and 60 dyes (8m) which is 42m. That's a difference of 21m for one gem, and is literally double the profit. And that's when you sell at 3.5m... which many gem run buyers complain is "too expensive." I saw a lot of ultis go for under 3m, which drives profit down further >.>

Note: there is the inconvenience of having to sell all those dyes, but imo the 10m extra profit is worth it. If you don't sell the dyes, you still make more than 10m profit more than selling.

A LOT of people are saying that selling is better because of the stable income from straight up spina. NO IT'S NOT AND HERE'S WHY FOR THE 10TH TIME:

With four legend gem runs, you can get 0-4 xtals. Some people are saying it's riskier than selling because you can get no XTALs and 0 spina profit. Yes, you can get no xtals, but the probability game still HIGHLY favors trading among other gem sellers. Also it is just as likely to get 4 xtals (which is probably at least 23m profit) as 0 xtals.

For sake of example, let's do Dragon Witch (Jeila Very hard) with Legend Gem

0 D. Witch Xtal Drop: 0m profit (6.3% chance)
1 D. Witch Xtal Drop: 5-6m profit* (25% chance)
2 D. Witch Xtal Drop: 10-12m profit (37.5% chance)
3 D. Witch Xtal Drop: 15-18m profit (25% chance)
4 D. Witch Xtal Drop: 20-24m profit (6.3% chance)

*I estimate D. Witch as 5-6m profit, but I think it will go up after event. The higher XTAL price btw, the better it is to trade than to sell.

Compare with selling at 1.5m each for Legend (many sellers even sell cheaper like 1.2m)
4.5m guranteed
0 D. Witch Xtal Drop: 4.5m (50% chance)
1 D. Witch Xtal Drop: 9.5-10.5m (50% chance)

Note: You can get a max of 1 Jeila xtal for bonus profit when selling. With 4 Legend run you can get up to 4 Jeila xtals. Jeila is worth at least 500k.

The most probable outcome of 4 legend runs is 2 D. Witch and 2 Jeila xtals is almost 14m. This is already 4m higher than the highest you can get selling, which only has a half chance of occurring.

If you get unlucky and only 1 D. Witch drop (25% chance), you still get 6-7m+ because of 4 chances of 50/50 Jeila xtal drops. Compare that to no d. witch drop from selling (50%) and 1 chance of 50/50 Jeila bonus.

Yes, there is a 6.3% chance you get a financial disaster with no D. Witch drops. But for the rest of the 94%, trading is simply better by the millions. Also, doing more gem runs is fun and challenging, at least IMO.

The Problems of Gem Run Trading
A few notable problems exist with Gem Run Trading:

• Slow to set up, takes time to find a good time for everyone to run.
• Party tends to be weaker than parties when selling. Most of the time it is still strong enough to defeat the event boss though. Occasionally, I get a very weak party that cannot properly defeat the boss and the run is cancelled.
• Must do four runs for the profit. Because the profit difference ranges from 6 million to 20million, I personally think that the extra few hours to do more runs is well worth it.

However, even with all these in mind I still think it is a much better idea to trade your gem than to sell it. I will be doing all the setup so you will not have to worry about that.
