Luk mage leveling 145 to 150

Hello~ new player here trying to figure out the best way to level from 145 to 150 so I can unlock the new skill level... I don't have other chars and not sure what is the best way to level up. My equips are mediocre as I started playing just a few days ago. Help would be appreciated! Thanks.

 

You're basically asking to be kicked out of the party because of your very low damage. Unless you have unlocked tier 4 skills or strong members willing to carry you, you shouldn't start the game with a luck character.

Going by the boss leveling, if you have a party:
•Imitator ult(146)
•Imitacia ult(149)
•Venena normal(150)

Mini boss
•Super Death Mushroom(150)
•Odelon Machina(146)

Normal mobs
•Ivy(150)
•Bubble Angel(Shrine)

I've arranged them by exp given if you are level 145. The best option is to finish main quest to fill up the exp gap or use an Adventurer's Diary and redo the quest starting from chapter 6 or so. You could also take advantage of farming materials and go for normal mobs instead. Normally, people don't like members who do not contribute to a boss killing party because that kills the efficiency.

 

Thanks for the tip! Yeah I didn't want to beg to be in a party and get carried and take the lazy approach ... Was hoping to find a mob I can farm and grind even if it takes time. I didn't know about the diary thing though. I'll check that out. Thanks again!

 

If you want to lvl up by killing mobs then Silveria from Elf mountain map is suitable for your current lvl. You should bring a strong attacker merc with you bc this mob is a bit hard to kill. When you reach lvl 147, go to venena normal mode. It's ok to use lvl3 skills here since normal mode raids usually end pretty quick anyway, so no one is going to notice if you have lvl4 skills or not.

 

You can also do free from infestor side quest taken at Garden of Beginning. Party there just want stormer anyway.

I think venena normal is your best bet, no one will really notice your low damage and you can ally there so 8 players per battle, on normal the battles are really fast and it's also pretty easy to find a party too.
If you didn't finish main quest you can get get xp from there but I would recommend saving some main quest for level 200 to 205 because it's really tough to do on a luk character or blacksmith and people will be more inclined to kick if you not doing any damage and it will be harder to find a party.

 

yep, not to mention it still barely take too long in hard mode, so i think it's safe to level up till 166 there (till 169 if you're quite patient). higher than that quest pretty much all you can do for luk and tec char if you dont have a decent gears

 

Thank you for the tips. I managed to hit 150 so now I have the lv4 skills unlocked... phew. Boss farm maybe slightly easier...
