Mage instant cast burst 1 slot set?

Hi I am wondering if its possible to reach instant cast burst with only 1s mage equipment without using any pots? If you have a successful 1s instant burst mage build could you please tell us what you used? Thank you if you could please do so

With 1s equip, you can reach around 5k cspd, buy you need to do two magic skill atacks to insta cast burst.

The problem tho is your sacrificing damage output for cspd (as well as proration of previous magic hits) and you need to find that balance. You can check out Akakuro's indepth guide for reference in building your Burst mage.

But tbh Burst DPS is really expensive, especially you need dte gears.

 

For 1s I use

Ele, CTE20 M10 CSPD20 CR15 +Usasama II
Anniv Festive Dagger II (+200 CSPD)
DTE20, M10, CR20 +SDM
Mage Cape(NPC Smith) +Choco oozeII (or Undersea Ruins Monster depends)
Rosetta Stone +Lalvada

218DEX
for now

I can reach instacast but really need Spell Headphones + Bitter Gelatin
at least I get to keep 3.6k+ Matk with it

 

Burst with 1s is pretty much possible but...

Don't expect a lot

 

Yup its possible and also you many options to choose from but the golden rule is try to reach 7.75k cspd without sacrificing damage.
This build just for reference
Go full int>dex
Staff: Finstern or Usasama depends on whether you need more mp or cspd
Add: Mage cape with Choco Ooze 2 (tons of mana and cspd)
Armor: Super Death Mushroom/Demonic Quasar (you'll need mana and cspd) but I recommend going for 2s adv gear because its cheap and also you can play around with two xtals.
Ring: Rosetta Stone= best ring for burst mage, as for xtal go for gravicep.

As for pots you only need Spell Headphones and Giga Speed Pots and also find someone with Dex food buff so you wouldnt need to go for Sauteed lonogo shrimp. Create a pet with Clear Mind also helps.

you can get it from opening golden casket but it super rare gacha so you'll need like 6 stacks just to get one.

I burned 7 and a half stacks of Golden Casket for that damn Rosetta Stone
then it was ns so I had to pierce it too. So Expensive but 1000CSPD is good anyday.

Philosopher's Ring 1s can help you in the meantime when you don't have it yet.

 

Awsome thanks for the advice, i will buy philosopher ring 1s to serve the burst set until i get at least a 1s rosetta stone!!, also just wondering would you happen to have a good reference to the rarity of 2s equipments of each type compared to their 1s counterparts? that will help me know wether or not to pursue smithing or farming them in the future

Its already dated I believe. Any 5th anniv staff +b will do much better.

 

It's not something that you should rely on, W. Atk is lower compared to 5th Anniv Staff, and the stats aren't the best.
A Decent 5th anniv staff would indeed be better for you.

Another thing is that Burst is strong because of the element. Mortal Slate being wind element is only good on water ele bosses, of which there aren't many around.

If you want a cheap staff to just Try out how Burst works, get an IM10 I20 CSPD20 Staff from CB.
Then rest, above mentioned equip with SPell Headphones and Bitter Gelatin and High Cycle
If you manage to reach 5.5k CSPD at least, you have to find a way to make your 2-Phase burst

Either put impact out of a combo so you can use it once before doing your Starter>Impact>Burst combo
or whatever creative combo you got
or just live with the 1sec+ Cast time

 

Thank you very much i guess i will get the 5th anniv staff with those stats then, i was wondering because the boss version of mortal slate had 1000 cspd so i thought it would lessen the need for cspd pots you see

 

You can use it too if you want to try
but the damage isn't going to be too great either

Try to get a guildie to stat stuff for you btw
If you dont have SS lying around, adding an element doesn't take much mana
you can just go for the same stats but change the flat INT to Element

Fire Light Dark
that's the most common elements you'll be needing imo
