Mage-less AOE farming

Hi guys, I was experimenting again with my 2h 'samm-urai' Build and realised that with the same build and by switching to 1h + MD, I can actually farm like a mage.. of course for those who don't know, the samm-urai uses quick draw, trigger slash and mp charge to maintain a good mp pool so just by switching your 2h to 1h+MD you change that function from boss to mob farm!

1h allows the use of tempest, and MD quickens the charge time to 4s.. coupled with impact, you get the same farming style as mage!

Combo: impact -> tempest (smite)-> mp charge (swift)
MP saver Combo: sonic wave -> impact (save) -> Tempest (smite) -> trigger slash (consec)

Now just need the community to acknowledge 1h + MD users into the farming 'circle'.. most people rely on mages, but we hope the community opens up to other possibilities!

EDIT:
Observations
1H + MD has a charge time at approx 4s while MD (mage) is at 3s.
1h + MD has the AOE radius like a staff (MD is still wider)

Overall still pretty effective, tho mage is still recommended for its AOE radius and 1s faster mp charge

might be a good idea to post your ideas for a alternative SUSTAINABLE AOE concept here as well! hopefully this opens up the community to other farming methods... *crosses fingers and hopes for the best*

 

I've actually seen a archer farmer. He focused on that arrow rain skill (forgot name lol). Though Idk the stats, it was actually rewlly efficient. Wherever that person is, thanks for braking the stereotype and becoming the anarchist archer for both snipes and mages lol

 

Archer works as well, tho the attack works like impact (1 hit area attack rather than damage over time)
I tried earth bind + impact (save) + arrow rain before, but storm/tempest work better due to the multiple damage ticks
