Magic Burst build for spam mage builds

So just off my head =)

I have an impact brawling mage at level 70, full Int Magic Device main. Magic: Burst and Magic: storm are skills I'm getting =) with 1.1k magic att, smited impact deals 20k at hundred-fifty percent and 12k at 90 percent. that's about a third of staff's storm.

Combo choices choose 2 or 3:

1. 1mp opener > shell break (save) > impact (smite) > javelin (swift) ---------------------1mp fast spam (mandatory)
2. 1mp opener > impact (cons) > Storm (smite) > Shell Break (cons) ---------------------4mp strong storm DOT
3. 1mp opener > impact (cons) >Storm (cons) > Shell break (cons)------------------------2mp cheap storm DOT
4. Impact > Burst (smite) > Assault attack (cons) > Shell Break (cons)---------------------five mp strong burst
five. 1mp opener > shell break (save) > impact (cons) > burst (smite) > closer (cons)--1mp cheap burst
six. 1mp opener > impact (smite) > Javelin (swift) > shell break (cons) -------------------4mp strong impact

All combos are either neutral proration or prorate magic. If soloing or with a mage party, add an additional physical skill to the spam combo eg. holy fist to prorate magic

Here are some important things:
- get at least 1000 cspd to reduce the cast time of burst to be <4 seconds. Always use two combos before initiating a burst combo for burst to be instacast
- open the battle with a storm combo for 4-six second DOT, then repeat the 1mp spam combo until storm finishes. Rinse and repeat.
- if guard break proc and you have enough mp, unleash a strong impact, strong storm or strong burst combo depending on whether burst is instant cast or not.
- get quick draw, mp charge lvl 10 and maximizer to ensure endless mp supply.
- we are mages, there's no need for auto-attacks =) spam and spam is the way to go.
- I'm thinking of getting Godspeed wield for Motion speed buff. It helps with the spamming and proc guard break.

 

1. This seems like an interesting build, it would be nice to see where this goes.
2. Proc is short for process; procreate means to make babies.

 

I've had this idea for awhile as well. But unlike yours, I'm even more intrigued about the idea of using decoy shot + Kairiki Ranshin for ampr, so i dont even bother w/ Maximizer

lol, ok. That kinda kills the joke, but whatever.

 

The problem with ampr with md full int is super low crit or accuracy, along with bad cspd. This can be mitigated with some skills, like meikyo to increase acc if i go rest Vit for tankiness.

mp charge and maximizer, though slow, is reliable and recovers some 1700 mp in 4 seconds., but considering the nature of this build, It'll leave my char exposed to strong hits or aoe

 

Burst becomes instant cast if you cast 8 magice atk skills from the magic skill tree.

Yes, and it is affected by CSPD and chain cast.

This spam build aims to use mostly instacast skills pr skills with short cast time. at 1000 CSPD, you can reduce cast time or magic by half, so with only 4 magic skills used, you can cast burst straight away. I was thinking of having a solo-mage build, hence Fina;e is out of the question due to its horrendous cast time.
