Magic Talisman IV vs. Machina Ring

Hey guys! Im currently 170 arrow mage thinking to switch to shield mage ^^ (attached youll find my current equipment)
For that Id need to swap out my chimera arrow, which gives 300 MP, out for a shield.
Now... consequentlyId lack 300 MP which I thought I might get by swapping my Machina Ring (with York and Guignol) out for a Magic Tali IV (with only Guignol). Like how dahell do ppl even get that much mp in general xD

My main question is, as I am not familiar with all variables...
As York gives 4%matk and Magic Talisman IV gives 8int -> would i be at a huge loss matk wise?

Most mages i know use Queen Staff

 

Um, I would suggest running it through the calculator on coryn, probably give you a good idea.

 

What xtals are you using? Before I switched to queen potum staff, I was using Imitacia and Ifrid which easily gives you 800mp. I also had magic tal IV ns for an additional 500mp. So that's 1300mp already. If you add maxed mp boost skill, that's 1600mp. I don't know how much mp you get from INT but iirc I got around 1800~1900 mp and I only had to use magiadd III to add 300 more.
