    For mobs it just lowers if the damage is less than their hp as ignite and poison doesnt kill in this game but leaves them at 1 hp.

    It might be a maxHP fractional instead of currentHP but I doubt it is more than 1% for bosses and 5% for mobs.
    Its good for taming mobs I guess but it is still ineffective for bosses. The inflict rates tho not bad at all. 95% for md and 75% for staff mages can flinch now too.

    Maybe we can get a Hexer class that I always wanted. Curse / burn / poison the enemy to death. ~1000 damage per tick isn't spectacular, but it might work out well, who knows.

    Cause I always liked debuffing over buffing. .3.

    A side question, what magic skills can inflict ignite (obviously assuming the staff is fire element)?

    Both javelin and blast with fire ele.
    With staff javelin is only 75% proc and blast is 50% while with md both become 100% I guess the revamp wasnt that bad ^^

    Judging by prior posts, then...

    It would have to be a staff / dagger build, with a 1:1 [Int / Dex]?
    The staff must be fire, likely Int%, Matk%,
    Likely Goddess Dagger...?
    Another aside question: Without critical rate, don't arrow mages and dagger mages have terrible physical hit rate... or am I forgetting something..? >.>

    Yep they have it terrible hit rate but they dont mind either as most of the physical skills are just for self proration and proration by skill gets added even if it misses. Tho yeah if in the future mages cap dex along with int then they will get enough hit to attack almost everything on normal mode.
