Mauez Boss Fight

Playing through the game on my first char for the first time and this boss is a nightmare. High hp and very damaging attackings, i can get one shot even with a +500hp potion.

Need to dodge everything including non-signaled attacks to defeat him and its really frustrating. not to mention the stupid system that requires me to return all the way through 7 maps from town to get back to him when i die.

How do you deal with him? Ive noticed most boss fights are just painful, too much hp on the bosses.

 

Hire a mercenary and change the difficulty of the boss to easy.

 

or learn the boss pattern to avoid his attack

 

Once you enter a boss battle, go to the escape portal and then change the difficulty to easy. And then hire a mercenary be it a random one or a friend/gguildmate, mercenaries have double damage on their auto attacks. Choose a 2h mercenary since 2h deals additional damage. But yea this is one of the problem toram has. With how easy you progress through the main story quest. Most new players would be really lacking the basic gears to fight even normal mode bosses. And in toram, gears really matter
